My Hotronic charger is a black box that measures approximately 3 1/2 X 2 X 2 inches and plugs into a 120 volt wall outlet. It has two cords, one for each battery pack, that plug into the top. The cords aren't removable because they're attached. The 120 volts The plug can be removed, presumably so that a 240 v can be installed in its place. plug.
It will, in fact. The charger must have white clips to work with the E3 or E4.
It needs to be included. My guess: For the Hotronic model, there is a power cord.

The first time I used this charger, one of the charging plugs stopped working halfway through the week, if it ever worked at all. My left foot became extremely uncomfortable and cold while skiing, and I discovered this. I confirmed the issue and am dissatisfied with the results. Now I have to charge each battery individually, and it's too late to return this item.
It's ideal for traveling. Nothing is more aggravating than going on a ski trip and forgetting your hotronics, having to deal with foreign outlets, lumpy foot warmers, or cold feet. While the original charger stays at home, I'll keep this in my boot bag. It was well worth the money.
I purchased another because I was tired of losing the first. There are no issues with this product; it performs exactly as it should.
The unit is great, but the wiring attached to the white plugs does not last (at best, it will break off in two years; this is my third in five years).
The old one's wires had come undone - Disappointed because it wasn't that old and had been well cared for. For a charger, it is quite expensive.
I was able to keep my toes warm throughout the day. There are no issues with it. In my ski boots, I was able to keep my feet warm all winter.
