Though the frame would slightly cover the last letter or number of the written verse, it is possible to do so. In any case, no frame is included, so you could mount the picture itself directly to the board (without the frame) and that would probably work

Specifically, I purchased all the medals, bib numbers and a photograph of my son for display. Overall, I am very happy with the quality and the ease of assembling it. I would say that the picture frame is the only thing I would say is a "negative" (even though it would not discourage me from purchasing again). The frame seems to be decent, but I might add a piece of velcro or something to keep it from shifting in the display and to prevent it from falling off. This would definitely be a repeat purchase for me.
