Questions & Answers

Is the plastic a certain thickness?

When compared to a sandwich bag, this is the best option.

Will these sleeves hold my Magic the Gathering cards?

Yes, they will fit. They are, however, a little sloppy. Other sleeves have a tighter, more comfortable fit.

Is this a variation of penny sleeves?

When I searched for penny sleeves/baseball card sleeves on Google, this was the first item that came up. The 500 count went quickly because I had no trouble fitting my regular baseball, football, and other sports cards into it.

Isn't this just a bunch of JC Penney sleeve? What is the source of its high cost?

Sorry,br>br>But the listing fee/shipping to Amazon/handling/shipping from Amazon keeps me from making a lot of money. Like 1- Profit of two dollars.

Penny sleeves are about a penny in price
5/5

They are effective. I bought these with the expectation that they would be 2 5/8 by 3 5/8 inches, not 2. 5 by 3. It's all right! I only use these sleeves for that game, no matter what I'm sleeving. They're a little bigger than standard sleeves, but for a PENNY A PIECE, how can you go wrong? It'll be well worth your time and effort. br>br>I see so many negative reviews complaining/crying about them being slightly larger as if it's the manufacturer's fault, when it's the customer's fault for not reading the darn description. Hello, customers aren't always right! Sheeesh! br>br>So, in terms of REVIEWING the actual product, I'd say this is a steal! They hold up well when shuffling, and protect my gaming cards just fine. br>br>Amen! If you're planning to mix these sleeves with some other sleeves from another brand/size/etc. , keep in mind that these will be slightly larger because they aren't manufactured to another company's standard. Lol.

I'm picky when it comes to card sleeves, and these are ideal for my needs
5/5

I compared this Ultra-Thin Card Sleeve to the Ultra-Thin Card Sleeve for Sports Cards because I'm picky about my card sleeves for sports cards. From Amazon's Pro 500 pack to Walmart's and hobby stores' 100 park, there's something for everyone. Ultra- You can't go wrong with either one because Pro is a high-quality brand. The 100-pack costs around $2-$3 locally. $3 or so. This 500 pack was $6 on Amazon, so it's a bargain at $1. It's a great deal at $20 per 100 sleeves. It's about the same in terms of clarity. Both feel about the same, but I believe the sleeves in the 100 pack are a smidgeon thicker. Despite the fact that it is barely visible. Toploaders will fit both sleeves perfectly. The 500-pack sleeves are labeled "Card Sleeves" and are made in China, according to the packaging. The 100-pack sleeves are labeled "Premium Card Sleeves" and are made in the United States of America using imported materials. Both will safeguard your cards in the same way. br>I measured the size of some sports cards and Pokemon cards, and they are identical. As a result, in the photos, I'm using Pokemon cards. The 500 pack sleeves are slightly wider and slightly taller, as you can see. Choose the 100-pack sleeves if you require a snug fit. br>I prefer the slightly wider 500-pack sleeves because they make it a little easier to insert the cards, especially thicker ones. Thick cards are more difficult to fit into the "skinnier" 100 pack sleeves, and any card may be slightly damaged (such as scraping foil on the edges) if done so. If I had to recommend a sleeve to a serious card collector with valuable cards, I would go with the 500 pack sleeves because they are easier to insert the cards into. A sleeve scrape or damage could drop a card's grade from Gem Mint 10 to Mint 9 or lower.

Penny sleeves are not worth the money
3/5

For the price you're paying, I don't think this product is worth it. I was expecting thick, long-lasting sleeves like the ones shown on the right (dragon shield clear classic), but all I got were penny sleeves. The sleeves were long and slender, with a loose fit. I was extremely dissatisfied, especially given the positive reviews, and I will not purchase it again.

Too Big
3/5

Their description needs to be updated. These sleeve lengths are far too long. A different seller had previously sold me a sleeve. The same description, but it didn't quite fit this time. The one on the left is ultra-conservative. It's clearly too big, pro. The description, on the other hand, is incorrect. Before I buy this, I should read the other reviews.

It appears to be generic sleeves that have been repackaged
3/5

They are, however, adequate in general. Instead of one large package with four sections as shown in the picture, I received five individual packages of 100 sleeves. I'm guessing these were repackaged, but I could be wrong because I've owned some Ultra Pros before and these don't have the MTG seal that my other sleeves do. Many people have complained about the sleeves being a little too long. One star deducted for misinforming buyers about the size, and another star deducted for possible repackaged sleeves (since I didn't receive what was shown in the photo). The sleeves, on the whole, are adequate and serve their purpose.

Good quality material, sleeves are not sticky, and fit a wide variety of cards; however, due to their size, they are limited in use
4/5

These aren't tight-fitting sleeves, as many have already pointed out. Typically increases a card overall footprint by 13 percentage percentage percentage percentage percentage percentage percentage percentage Good for: br>br>
- Keeping cards safe in a deck box or card storage box.
- A second layer of protection for cards kept in pocket page protectors or toploaders. Not suitable for: br>br>
- Cards that are kept in fitted trays, such as those found in many tabletop games, e. g. , Thunderstone, or Splendor, to name a few.

Be wary of counterfeit products; I've used thousands of Ultro Pro sleeves, and they're tough and stretchy without tearing
3/5

These aren't Ultra Pros, by any stretch of the imagination. The seams on these are prone to ripping. Ultra Pros are normally sold in heat sealed sealed packs of 100 with a pickture in each bag of the product. br>This was received as a multipack (4 packs of 125 in a large bag) with one large ultra-pro. The individual bags were not thermally sealed, despite the fact that they were pro labeled. They had a zip-lock closure, but they weren't thermally sealed. They were also a lot less expensive. The price should have told me something.

This is really cool
5/5

For months, these have been extremely difficult to come by at this price. I'm glad I found it at a store because I'm in the middle of a card collection organization project. br>br>These are ideal as a temporary home for the cards, but not for long-term storage in binders or other containers.
