In the DC Deck Building Game and other Cryptozoic DBs, I use these to create oversized cards. Although they are an excellent way of protecting the cards, they can scratch easily and are vulnerable to abrasion when used normally. The sleeves did indeed look worn out after only one game to which we moved cards across their surface and tapped it with fingernails to demonstrate we were activating their abilities. The small scratches on them suggested these sleeves had been played many times. One tip the oversized DCDB cards are a tight fit in sleeves and my card bent while I was trying to shove it inside. Using two of the dividers in the multiverse box, sandwich an oversized card between them, and then insert all these together into the sleeves. When the card is fully inserted it creates a sturdy vehicle around it, which makes sure it doesn't bend. Once it is fully inserted, you can easily pull out the dividers, one at a time. In my case, it worked for a total of nearly 200 oversize cards because I own all of the Cryptozoic DB expansions.
It appears that this seller is repackaging Ultra Pro sleeves from cards he purchased from other stores. There were exactly 10 brand new cars out of 200.
Place in a penny sleeve or foil sleeve and then into one of these sleeves. My preference is for the larger 3-inch protectors rather than the smaller 2-inch protectors I prefer the 1/2" because I can easily put the cards in and I do not dirty up my hands more than I already do at work. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions,.
The holders are less expensive than the more expensive plastic versions while maintaining the same degree of rigidity. With these holders, you get more value for your money.
The shipping was quick as well. It can be used to submit grade cards.
In this box I keep my playing cards.
