Questions & Answers

What does it mean to say that something is sealable?

Hello there, the term "sealable" simply refers to the absence of an opening like there would be on traditional sleeves. Instead, an elongated flap is tucked into the sleeve for a more secure fit. I hope this information is useful.

I got an empty plastic package with no sleeves, just the packaging. bizarre. I was forced to "return" an item due to a refund. It's not even half full! now what?

I'm guessing it's just a mistake on the part of the manufacturer.

Are these cards compatible with Yugioh?

They don't, no. They are only compatible with standard-size cards, not Japanese-sized cards.

Selected User Reviews For Sleeves: Dragon Shield Perfect Fit Sealable Clear (100)

After watching the Professor at Tolarian Community College review of these, I was a little skeptical because they appear to be larger and more difficult to get into sleeves as a result
5/5

I mean, the package is huge and must contain more material, right? However, the way the tension on these causes your inner sleeves cards to be pushed into an outer sleeve (always dragon shield, obviously) never causes your card to slide out of the inner as it does with every other inner sleeve. It's difficult to explain, but if you've ever tried to push an inner sleeved card into an outer sleeve and had the card slide slightly out on the way in, resulting in a weird baggy edge that will never go into the sleeve properly, you'll know what I'm talking about. This is something that could never happen with these, and it's a complete game changer. Try these out and you'll agree with me that you'll never go back to regular inner sleeves.

These inner sleeves are easy to damage, so use standard inner sleeves instead
3/5

I'm such a big fan of Dragon Shield sleeves that I don't wear anything else. I'll just go over the advantages and disadvantages of each of these in relation to that company's non-core competencies. sleeves that are sealed Advantages: br>br> br>* All sides of the card are protected. br>* Inserting into an outer sleeve is slightly easier. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. br>* I've discovered that it's far easier to damage the sleeve (i. e. POKÉMON cards should always be handled with caution
4/5

Sleeves fit perfectly on Pokémon cards and look and feel fantastic when paired with a deck sleeve. br>br>ON THE OTHER HAND - When it comes to Pokémon cards, be cautious. It's a tight fit when sliding a card into the sleeve, and if you slide the card's edge/corner along the sleeve's edge, your cards will be damaged. It will cause whitening and scraping along the blue card border. With magic cards, however, this was not the case. br>br>I wouldn't use these on expensive Pokémon cards, but they're great for magic cards.

With some quality control issues, these sleeves are fantastic
3/5

These sleeves were purchased for Magic: The Gathering EDH/Commander decks. Let me start by saying that these sleeves are fantastic. It was very simple to "assemble," and I only had a couple of instances where the inner sleeve slipped slightly when being inserted into the outer sleeve. All of the sleeves fit perfectly in the Dragon outer sleeves that I bought at the same time as the inner sleeves. I also tried a few with Ultra Pro Eclipse outer sleeves and found that they fit well. br>br>However, out of a pack of 100 sleeves, I found eight in which the card pushed right through the other end of the sleeve with very little pressure applied. Fortunately, I ordered two packs to try them out, and I finished the first deck using the second pack. Now I'm stuck with a half-pack and will have to go out and buy another to sleeve a second deck. Since I haven't partially sleeved another deck, I don't know what the failure rate is for the second pack, but having to spend another $10 for 8 more sleeves (barring failures) doesn't fill me with joy. br>br>Because the extra layer adds up to over 100 cards, the stack will be slightly taller than if the sleeves were different. I've been wearing KMC Perfect Fit inners and Ultra Pro Eclipse outers, so the size difference is visible in the photo. Not insignificant, to be sure. I store my decks in a Stanley deep parts organizer with some cut foam at the top to fill in the gaps, so I can't speak to deck boxes, but I can tell the difference in the bin cups with the decks in them.

Double sleeving is a breeze with this fabric
4/5

First and foremost, I only give five stars to items that go above and beyond. However, these are fantastic, especially if you plan on sleeping two MTG cards at the same time. What I like best about these is that I can use them while changing external sleeves without having to worry about the card sliding out. Overall, this was a fantastic purchase, and I currently have five more packs in my cart. The fact that these seal themselves is a huge plus. br>br>*Update
After using these for a while (with MTG cards), I've discovered only one minor flaw that can be easily remedied. Your deck will have lean if all of your cards are sleeved the same way and double sleeved in the same direction. That is, there is a small amount of extra material at the end of the double sleeve where it folds over. After stacking 100 double-sleeved cards, the difference adds up, and one side of the deck will be slightly higher than the other. br>br>However, this problem/issue can be solved by simply switching the cards' directions when putting them in the first sleeve. br>br>I still think they're great!.

It's Simple to Do Double Sleeving
5/5

I've always been interested in double sleeving because I have a few decks that I'd like to keep in good shape. I tried it with traditional doublesleeves, but getting them to fit properly has always been a challenge. When I try to put on a regular sleeve, it rides up. I used all of the internet tips and tricks to get it in, and while I was successful, it was a pain, so I double-sleeved one deck and never looked back. br>br>I saw these a while ago on the internet and read a review, and they are truly amazing. If you ask me, this is a step up from double sleeving because the card is completely encased in plastic. There's also no need to be concerned about the card riding up when it's sleeved.

With all the double-sided cards in MTG, this is a great way to protect the card completely
5/5

When I tried to flip the card with old sleeves, they often slid out, and I refuse to use side loaders (they're just asking for trouble). So when the professor told me about these, I decided to give them a shot. I'm in ecstasy right now. They are well-sealed and glide easily into and out of the outer sleeve. But make sure they're facing the right way in this sleeve. They're difficult to get out once they're in, so you'll have to bend them a little to make a gap big enough to grab and slide them out. There might be a way to push them out from the top, but I'm not sure if that's feasible. However, I believe that this is a benefit because it will help protect your card, and I can always trade or sell a card while keeping it in the inner sleeve.
