So, while this isn't a bad deck box, it does fall short of other cases in its price range for one reason. It doesn't have the best magnet. Some other deck boxes in this price range, as shown in the video, do not suffer from this problem. br>br>While there are better ways to spend your money, this isn't a bad choice. It appears to be adequate in terms of durability, but it falls short in terms of "thickness. " The flap itself appears to be a little flimsy. br>br>Three stars appears to be a fair rating.
I bought this deck box after reading Tolarian Community College's review from 2014, and it appears that the product has changed since then. I needed a place to keep a standard deck with sideboard, so I figured 75 single-sleeved cards would be perfect. Regrettably, the video that comes with this review explains everything you need to know. I'm not sure if it's faulty or not, because the packaging it came in appears to be genuine. I can't recommend buying this deck box in 2020, no matter how nice it looks on the outside.
However, I do not recommend standing on it. BUT THAT THING ON ME IS STRONG AS A BOOOOIIII I WANT TO PUT MY CARDS IN IT AND GET BLASTED BY A BLUE-EYED MONSTER. EYES OF A WHITE DRAGON JUST TO DEMONSTRATE ITS STRENGTH. No, it's really nice, and mine has the red stitching as advertised. I'll buy another one if the price doesn't go up.
This is an excellent choice, as it features a dragon as an emblem and is specifically designed for Magic The Gathering players. Though it could certainly be used for other games that use cards of similar size. br>br>How many cards can it hold? br>This box is a little bigger than the average deck box. It has enough room to fit 60 sleeved Magic the Gathering cards, three D20 dice, and a bunch of small counters with room to spare. In an attempt to make the most of the available space - I was able to cram 100 sleeved cards and counters into the space available. However, I was unable to accommodate any D20 dice. If you're curious about the INTERNAL measurements, they are as follows: br>2 1/4" deep x 3" wide x 3 7/8" tallbr>br>Build Qualitybr>The box feels great - the supple leather This product has a very high-quality feel to it because of the like material. end feel. The magnetic latch on the flip cover makes it easy to open and close. The locking mechanism and the magnet are concealed within the leatherette material - As a result, you'll never see it. This is a thoughtful addition. The box is colored on the outside, but matte black on the inside. The outside is stitched, but it's done in a very tasteful manner. Low Cost - br>br> good qualitybr>If you want to save money on deck boxes while maintaining a high level of quality, this is a great option. It has a solid construction and a magnetic latch to keep your cards safe. so that the contents of the box do not spill out if it is turned upside-down 4 of these deck boxes have been purchased by me - They're all great, and they're all useful.
The magnet isn't attached properly. Do not make a purchase. This was purchased from Amazon. com. It closes with the help of circular magnets. However, the magnet on the flap is not securely fastened. As a result, it moves within the fabric. I'll need to purchase a new deck box. The design is fantastic. Dragons are one of my favorite things in the world. So, the logo is fantastic. However, it is not well constructed, so I will need to purchase something else. It was a complete waste of money.
But it's nearly there. On each side of them, there is a 5 inch gap. Because cards cannot be stacked sideways, this appears to be an error as well. I prefer a snug fit all the way around to prevent cards from sliding around. Apart from that, it's a fantastic box, especially for the price; it's not worth returning, but it could be so much better.
The deck case has a nice smooth texture to it, and it should be able to withstand being carried in your bag. The bright orange color has a pleasing texture, and the magnetic flip fold to access your cards has a very strong closure that won't flap open if dropped. Overall, this deck case feels very high-end for your cards, and I intend to order more of their deck cases in the future. I've attached a photo of my Yu-Gi-Oh! cards in their case. Oh, cards show, the deck case has a lot of space, so your cards will slide around a little bit back and forth, but they will always be the same, so everything is fine.
Okay, I should've read the fine print and realized it's only meant to hold 80 cards. I had a 100-card deck that would not fit once sleeved in there. However, the box is just a smidgeon too small to hold all 100 cards when turned the other way. When you have 80 cards in the box, this also means that there is extra space on one side, causing the cards to bounce around a lot. It's unfortunate that the dimensions weren't slightly different in design. In terms of the box's appearance and feel on the outside, it's quite lovely. Unfortunately, I'll have to return mine because it's not very practical for a 100-card deck of sleeved cards.
