It's not a big deal; it's an "overnight" situation. bag. I purchased this for my 7-year-old granddaughter so she wouldn't have to carry a large bag. It has not been used because it was a Christmas gift, but it is approximately 2 feet (a little less) long by 1 foot tall. I apologize for the lack of breadth, but I hope this information is useful:
For that, it's a little on the small side. It serves as both a carry-on and a dance bag for us. All of the pads would fit, with the exception of the shoulder pads, which would have to be folded up in some way. It's of excellent quality, but it may be a little small for pads.
You could always have them embroidered if you wanted to.

This was a fantastic outcome. My six-year-old can stuff it with a change of clothes and a twin-sized blanket. It has enough room to hold several sets of clothes.
Arrived with a massive gash in his face. I'm baffled as to how someone could take this thing, look at it, and then pack it up to ship it out. It was wrapped in a huge plastic bag, within tons of kraft paper wrap, and in a giant box, way out of proportion to its size, so there's no way this happened in transit. Also, don't be fooled by the photo. It's actually quite small, very flimsy, and appears and feels very cheap. I wouldn't have been able to give this as part of the gift it was supposed to be even if it hadn't been defective. It has the appearance and feel of a $1 store purchase.
I've now purchased my second duffel bag. It has straight stitching, a long zipper, and is made of thick fabric, just like the previous one. My husband can comfortably sling it over his shoulder by lengthening the strap. We also purchased a toddler backpack that was the same color. When my kids sleep over at Grandma's house, we use the duffle. It comfortably accommodates clothing, toddler jeans, diapers, and a few toys. I don't think much adolescent clothing will fit, but it should be enough room for at least 7 full outfits (that's how long we stay at my cabin), a row of diapers and wipes, and a baby blanket for a toddler. br> If we have another child, I'll buy these again.
I am a grandmother six times over. I bought olive children's sets for each of my grandchildren. They've got a sleeping bag, a duffle bag, and a rolling suitcase. When they arrive at my house, they have everything they need packed and can easily repack their duffle. When we don't have any beds, the kids like to sleep in their sleeping bags. They want to sleep in their sleeping bag on top of the bed when there aren't enough beds. These items are beneficial to both children and adults who travel.
Because there is only one small pocket on the outside of the bag, it is perfect for a sleepover but not for travel. The bag, however, is quite large, allowing you to stuff it with whatever you want. I had no trouble fitting several changes of clothes (my child is small and has accidents from time to time), his blanket (an adult size throw), and his toiletries into the main compartment.
These small bags are adorable. I was sending my two children, one of whom was one year old and the other of whom was three years old, to my parents' house at the time of purchase. Big bulky diaper bags, needless to say, were inconvenient and had far too many small compartments for what I needed. For extended stays with the grandparents, these bags are large enough to send three days' worth of clothes, pajamas, diapers, and wipes!.
This (along with another design) was purchased for my twin grandson boys' first overnight at Grandma's house, when they were 2 1/5 years old. They were immediately stuffed with toys by the boys, who adored them. In these perfectly sized bags, there is enough room for jammies, diapers, snacks, next-day clothes, and toys. The stitching is well done and the material is sturdy.
However, this would not last for an entire weekend; perhaps one night's worth of clothes, but no Blankey! Very small bag with no structure, thin floppy material that makes it difficult to pack without the sides collapsing, and no bottom structure, such as a covered piece of cardboard or plastic.
