Questions & Answers

Is there one or two zipper pulls in the main section? For the plane, I'd like to close the zipper. ?

On the main section, there are two zipper pulls that can be locked together with a small luggage lock.

Is this bag suitable for use as a personal bag with United Airlines?

My question is the same as yours. Because of the 17x10x9 dimensions of the United States. However, the American Airlines website states that the dimensions are 18x14x9.

Is this bag strong enough to be used as a checked bag without ripping?

That's what I think. It also appears to be water resistant on the inside.

What is the maximum weight it can hold?

It depends on whether you're packing books or clothes, I suppose. Clothing, a tablet, a coat, and a small purse were among the items I packed in mine. I weighed 20 pounds and there was still room at the top. It's made of a tough nylon tope material, and the straps appear to be well attached, but if you tried to carry too much weight, they'd be the weak point. I use the sleeve to carry my small hard shell carryon on top of it. I think it's a good deal, but I'm sure you could spend a little more and get something built to last longer.

It's a great extra bag to throw in your suitcase for those last-minute travel purchases without taking up too much space
5/5

This bag was ordered as an "extra" carry-on item to be packed in my suitcase for my month-long trip. a lengthy journey through Europe br>I was surprised at how small and light the bag was when folded when it arrived. I was even more taken aback by the size of the bag once it was opened! Also, given some of the other reviews, I was pleasantly surprised at how durable it was. br>I've been using this on my trip and have been very happy with it so far, as it's accompanied me to four different hotels. br>br>Here's what I like about it: It folds up into a small extra bag that can be easily packed. Very roomy — I was able to pack purchases I made on my trip, such as three pairs of shoes, clothing, extra gift purchases, and so on, that would not fit in my other suitcase. The bag fits over the telescoping handle on my suitcase with ease. The long, adjustable shoulder strap is fantastic, and the hand carry handles are also adjustable, which is an unexpected bonus! I got the black bag with the hidden shoe pocket, which is fantastic. I noticed that the other bags (different colors) did not have the shoulder strap or the shoe compartment area, so I am reviewing the one that does. br>What didn't appeal to me as much as the others: Because the bag is foldable and light, it lacks any kind of structure. This has been mentioned by other reviewers, and the photo gives the impression that there is some structure. Please take note that there are none. As a result, depending on how the bag is packed, it may be difficult to maneuver. That said, since I didn't expect the bag to have much structure, the lack of structure isn't a deal breaker for me and the purposes I need it for. This was the only "negative" I could find, and I thought it was worth mentioning, especially since other reviews seemed to think the bag's lack of structure was a major flaw. br>br>What I would not use this bag for; This was an extra bag that I packed in my luggage so that I could buy things while traveling, and it worked perfectly. I would not purchase this bag to use as my primary mode of transportation. It may, however, be suitable for a light weekend getaway that does not necessitate the packing of many heavy items. Overall, a great super light and easy to pack extra bag with great functionality at a really reasonable price and a lot of unexpected extras (useful handle and shoe pouch). br>I'll be buying another for my boyfriend so he can bring an extra bag on our next trip as well. br>br>It's been 2 years since I added this. This bag is still in use after two years! As I previously stated, I bought this as a backup bag for international travel. I've used it on all of my trips so far, and it's been exactly what I needed. I actually bought too much on my last trip and used this bag to *ship* dirty clothes back to the United States. I was concerned because this bag was not packed in a box; instead, it was simply taped up on the outside with labels and shipped. Even after an overseas, fully stuffed, no protection shipment, the bag arrived in PERFECT condition, much to my surprise! Given the hundreds of dollars I've spent on other luggage that has broken down, this was the best deal I've ever found. I just bought a new one. I'm hoping it works out as well as this one did— 100% recommended!.

Spirit Airlines requires a "Personal Item" size
5/5

For our Spirit Airlines flight, I purchased four of these (one for myself and each of my children). My goal was to pack enough clothing for a week. It worked perfectly and was able to fit under the seat! It also appears to be fairly durable, so it should last us for a few more trips. I strongly suggest it.

This is an amazing bag
5/5

When folded, this is small, but when opened, it is quite large. Attaches to a suitcase and holds a large amount of clothing. I checked it when I returned from Asia and it was fine; there were no'refolding' instructions, but I found this online and was able to get it back into the pocket. When you're going on a trip and think you'll be buying things to bring back, this is a great bag to bring with you. I packed my soft clothes in a duffel bag and my more fragile purchases in a hard suitcase.

This is the only bag I'll ever need when traveling
5/5

This is a fantastic multi-purpose bag. The seams and zippers appear to be well-made, and I've put it through its paces. I still haven't shed a tear after six months. My favorite feature is that I can compress it and store it in a larger travel bag for souvenirs on the way back. br>br>The bag's material is a little thin, but that's something I appreciate when I'm trying to compress it. Anything sharp should be avoided in there because it WILL cut it. Normal clothing and workout equipment, on the other hand, fit perfectly. The strap is also very pleasant to wear. br>br>This is one of the most well-made duffle bags I've ever owned. You might want to choose a sturdier model if you need something with thicker material and aren't concerned with "compressibility," but otherwise, just buy it. You will not be sorry.

Travel bag that is not too pricey
5/5

When I read the reviews, I noticed that some people said it was flimsy and that it would slide off their luggage. To make the bag even more secure, I used the handles and the adjustable strap. I adored this bag because it was so spacious.

It offends me greatly
3/5

I'm not sure why this bag has so many positive reviews. br>br>If you look closely at the photos in the listing, you'll notice that the side straps are attached far below the top corners, which are stuffed in the photos. That was a source of concern for me, and I wish I had paid attention to my own advice. Because the straps don't pull the top corners out if you don't have a pillow insert in the bag, the top corners will deflate. There will be a deflation in all four corners. There will be no nooks and crannies in this building. All of your belongings will roll up in the middle of the bag, the straps will pull the middle of each side outward/upward, and you'll appear to be carrying a (extremely uncomfortable) hobo bag. The rough nylon shoulder strap has no padding, and the bag's shape is also uncomfortable. The bag has no structure, but because it's wider than most people's hips, it collapses around your hip rather than hanging like a duffel should. Because there is no slack management hardware on the adjustable hand/shoulder straps in the middle, they flap all over and are quite irritating. I had no idea such a simple bag could cause so much trouble. br>br>I hate to be so harsh on such a cheap bag, but it's completely useless to me, and better strap placement wouldn't necessarily cost more money. br>br>I believe this is one of the only inexpensive rectangular bags with a long shoulder strap that I've seen on Amazon or import sites, and I believe that's why- These bags don't work because of how they're made. I really wish the strap had been attached at the top corners and the seams had been strategically placed to add structure. I have a great packable backpack that folds up small but has a lot of heavy seams that prevent it from collapsing. It's easier to carry the bag with the shorter straps, but that's not why I bought it in the first place. br>br>Gave it a bonus star because the materials appear to be of reasonable quality.

This is an excellent travel bag
5/5

This bag is amazing, and I can't say enough good things about it. This bag met my requirements for Spirit's personal measurements. It was the first time in my life that I wasn't asked if the bag fit. It's a small bag that holds a lot of stuff. This bag comes highly recommended by me.
