Questions & Answers

Is this plywood or something else?

They're made of plywood because I believe it's the only way to make sturdy rings. However, this isn't your typical plywood from the hardware store. There are no voids or knots in this type, and the layers are extremely thin to ensure strength.

Is it possible to use these with a doorway pull-up bar?

Yes, the rings have nylon straps that can be adjusted to fit people of different heights. They're hung from a TRX frame at my gym. Not being aware of your pull- I'd make sure the part of the bar where you hang the rings (hang the straps) can take the weight force of your movements. Furthermore, as TMM pointed out in their response, a doorway isn't the best place for rings.

Are there any rings? 25 or 1. a diameter of one?

The ring has a thickness of one millimeter. 25".

Is the total length of the straps 15' or 15' when they're hanging?

I'm not very good at eyeballing measurements, so don't take my word for it, but I'm guessing a total length of 15'. On my branch, I only use about half of the strap length (it's a low branch, maybe 8 feet), so I'm guessing 15' is enough. end. If I could change one thing, it would be the length of the straps, but as a beginner, I don't think I need it just yet.

RISK RISK RISK RISK RISK RISK RISK RISK RISK These sat in the box for months after I purchased them
3/5

I started using them a few weeks ago and was having fun with them until one of the buckles snapped off like a potato chip while I was doing a simple support hold. When I explained the situation to customer service, they informed me that they would be unable to assist me. If you can believe it, they advised me to go to the hardware store and fix it myself. So much for a product that you believe in. br>br>Obviously, this leads me to believe that the product is extremely dangerous. At the very least, you may be putting your money on the line by purchasing this item. At the very least, it's about you.

These are fantastic! I've hung them from a pulley system
5/5

In the closet of my apartment, I have a pull-up bar. Carry out their actions exactly as they appear. It's simple to use and has a lot of functionality. There's a lot of variety here, as well as a lot of practicality. Has raised the bar in my home gym. br>br>It's simple to set up - If you have any questions, YouTube has 50 videos that will help you make sure they're safe and at the right height for the exercise. It's not difficult - It's a done deal once you've learned it. Simple, light, and durable. Don't be concerned if the rings are too woody - It's finely sanded and comfortable to hold. br>br>Would recommend to anyone interested in building their own home gym.

I'm not a professional gymnast, but I am a gym owner with a lot of experience
5/5

I've bought over ten pairs of gymnastics rings for my gym over the years, ranging in price from $100 to $15 a pair, but if I have to buy any more, these will be my first choice. Plastic ones are never sturdy enough, are slick when wet, are far too light, and forget about it if they have the rubber grip glued on - Those will inevitably tear off at some point. Metal rings are too heavy, lack the grip of wooden rings, especially when false gripping, make annoying clanking noises, and have the potential to knock someone out if they come swinging at you unexpectedly. br>br>If you want to go with wood rings, these are the ones to get. They are made of laminated wood, as opposed to plastic or metal rings, which I prefer. I'm not sure what the other reviews were referring to because they arrived sanded down. They weren't too heavy or too light, and they had a great overall balance. The straps are extra wide webbing, which I prefer, and they come with small velcro straps next to the clinching mechanism (which broke after the first week). Our athletes, who range in size and weight from 80 to 200 pounds, use these rings for ring rows, pull ups, muscle ups, ring dips, and other exercises, and the rings/rstraps have all held up well and feel very secure. The rings, like all of our wooden gym equipment, have developed a nice patina over time, but they've never felt slick or oily. A good price and a good quality *** I'm not a gymnast, so I'm not sure if they're "regulation," but as a general physical fitness practitioner and gym owner, I think they're a good value and well-made. Don't waste your time trying out different types of rings; you'll just end up with a bunch of useless items and non-functional rings. the same outfit Don't bother asking questions; just take these.

MATERIALS FOR SHODDY WORK - Is it possible that this is dangerous? Be careful who you buy from
3/5

After a few months of purchasing and securely hanging these rings on a backyard gymnastics rig for my daughter. On the metal buckle, there was a jagged hairline defect. I should have returned them at the time, but I figured it was just a coating flaw. Wrong! With just the pressure from adjusting the buckle with my thumb, the buckle eventually snapped along that line. And it's only a few days after Titan's warranty expires. When I contacted Titan to see if we could simply order a replacement buckle, I was directed to Amazon. "Sorry, you're past the warranty period," Amazon said after sending me back to Titan. " Yes. Yes, we had been. By a week and a half. br>br>The good news is that this bad experience with Titan Fitness taught us a valuable lesson. 1) It was a good lesson in customer service and accountability for both me and my daughter. We decided that it was 100% our fault for not returning the defective item sooner and inspecting it more carefully and not returning it sooner and inspecting it more carefully 2) We were relieved that the buckle did not injure her or cause her to fall from a height of seven feet! 3) We discovered a better set of rings than Titan's, complete with very strong buckles and numbers painted on the straps for precise adjustments. In conclusion: br>br> These rings, as well as Titan Fitness, are not something I would recommend. Everyone, be cautious!.

The king of all materials is wood
5/5

The rings themselves are comfortable and attractive, but they do not have a finish, so they will darken over time as a result of exposure to air and your own oils. They have the texture of freshly sanded wood and appear to be very light. They are completely smooth and slightly glossy after six months of use, with a slightly darker color. br>I use them without chalk and have no trouble getting a good false grip for muscleups and other exercises; the rings are also very comfortable to wear. Dips and other exercises in which your weight is above the rings can be painful with a thin ring. br>I've got them set at a certain height, and the straps haven't loosened up even after months of use.

Rings that are good
4/5

I believe they were misapplied by critics. It would be nice if the straps were marked with measurements. Arrived on time. br>The rings are not polished, but they are smooth. I expect them to shine as a result of their sweat. use. Splinters are not an issue. br>I docked one star because the straps were not marked with measurements, as other brands do. My 200-pound weight is easily supported by the straps and cams. br>To the item's defense:
A. In one review, the rings were criticized for collapsing while being used in an outdoor gym. The rings are made of unsealed plywood and should not be left outside for long periods of time. Invest in plastic rings if you have an outdoor gym.
B. Several people complained that the cams on the straps broke while they were being used. The straps should be fed into the cams from the bottom and exit through the front. The cam levers should be free of any pressure. So I'm not sure how they came to be broken in the first place. I believe those reviewers set it up incorrectly (please see my photo).
