Questions & Answers
If you're asking about the internet, the answer is yes. I installed two of these nets on a basketball court in a local park, and they've been holding up well for nearly a year. I recently discovered that two local kids were climbing and monkeying around on the chain at the same time, and that the chain had broken in a few places. Aside from that, these nets were a nice addition to the basketball court and prevented us from having to replace them every few months.

Excellent product that arrived on time and was simple to put together. My kids wanted to try out a metal net, and so far it's worked out perfectly. In the front driveway, I used a lifetime portable hoop for two days. You will need to tighten the connections a little to prevent them from falling off, as suggested by others. This can be done easily with a pair of pliers while hooking it on. It does come with a larger set of clips that we didn't need. In the northeast, I'm not sure how long it will last, but so far it's holding up well.
This was put up after I got tired of having to replace the rope nets. This appears to be the best option because one of our loops on the rim is missing. We used zip ties to secure it to the rim. My husband bexts the rest of the little hooks around to keep them from falling off the rim hooks. They're just small open hooks, so if they're not secured in some way, they'll jump off when the ball hits the ht erim.
It reminds me of when I was a kid and we used to play ball in the park. The price of this chain net is extremely reasonable. I don't see any rust after several rainstorms, but you'll need a pair of pliers to pinch the chain net's hooks. The sound of a swish with this chain net is very appealing to my adolescent boys. I'd buy another one in a heartbeat. When I buy a product, I also read reviews, and it was worthwhile to write a positive review in this case.
Excellent quality; I'm confident it will outlast my basketball hoop for a long time; just make sure to crimp the open chain ends over each other (squeeze the loops closed with pliers) to keep it mounted.
It will not rust, and anyone considering purchasing it should be aware that it is made of aluminum. It has a cheap, light-weight feel to it, but hey, it's just a basket ball net. The weather will not be a problem for the aluminum. It was simple to put together, and when you get a swoosh, the chain makes a cool whipping sound. Purchase it right now.
Installing it was simple, but keeping it on the rim was a challenge. There was no instruction on how to keep this product on the rim when it was delivered.
With pliers and a ladder, it's simple to set up. It took a long time to undo the damage. The old nylon net must be looped down before the new one can be installed. The hooks were not all tangled up because of the way they were packaged. The swoosh sound of a metal net is one of my favorites.
I am the mother of two small children. I got them a miniature basketball hoops with a full-size rim. It's only been a year, and they've already gone through two cheap nets. I figured it was time to upgrade them to something more durable, and this chain net works great and has withstood the abuse so far.
