It is true that you will not see your bike. To strap the trip computer to the front fork, you need to mount the sensor on the fork, mount the magnet on the spoke of the wheel within 20 mm of the sensor, and mount the handlebar on which to mount the trip computer. It would be nice to have all three on your ebike. It should not be a problem to calibrate the sensor pulse rate based on tire size, as there is a chart for that as well
My understanding is that you must use the Amazon app. Select the item on your orders list and then click on the contact seller link.
You might not be able to use this method since the sender (transmitter) must be less than 2 feet from the receiver (readout). There may be a need for a "wired" model.
Using the handle bars, you can mount the screen. It doesn't matter which side you are on. Located on one side of the fork, the pickups are mounted. On the spokes is another magnet part. An instruction booklet should accompany the product.

It's such a relief that you have just avoided countless hours of frustration. I consider myself a pretty handy guy and have installed speedometers Even though it isn't necessary to have a PhD to understand directions, it would have been nice to have had it during the development. In order for the monitor to be mounted near the receiver, it must be no more than 24 inches away. The monitor might work well on an 18-inch kid's bike but any bike over 24 inches requires mounting it too high on the forks so the magnet can make contact. Mounting it too low on the forks of large bikes will make the monitor too far.
The stem angle on my bike is at an angle of about 45 degrees, so I want to mount a computer there. On the promo photos it appeared to be described how to convert from a handlebar to a wall mounting format, but it was never mentioned in the instructions. In reading the reviews, I found that the 4 screws on the backplate must be removed, the backplate must be turned 90 degrees, and then it must be reattached. All I had to do was install the unit, as I had installed them on other bikes already. Those of you who are not sure what's going on can search YouTube for some good "how to's", if the instructions don't make sense. Instead of measuring a rollout, I used the tire chart to get a more accurate reading, but I am finding that the tire chart matches well with what I get from the apps (MapMyRide I would like to add another user's perspective - The reviewer said that if the unit is left idle for at least five minutes, it goes into sleep mode, so he or she needs to switch to a manual button to wake it up again. Within less than 5 minutes of a stop, it begins tracking as soon as you pick it up The size I wear is There can sometimes be more than five readers, but I am able to see the display clearly. I am very satisfied all in all. The following is an update (June 28, 2021) There have been two instances when this unit has malfunctioned during long rides. My computer seems to go into a re-boot mode, and then I have to power it back up and reset the tire, date, and other demographic information. In most cases, I have redundant systems to keep track of distance, but I do like instant feedback on how fast I'm going. Due to this, I am reducing my original score from four to three.
I am so happy to give you this The unit works well with electric bikes. We have only tested it as fast as 20 mph but it is Getting the sensor working was the only part for which I had to try a few times. Unlike the pictures in the manual, I had to angle the magnet towards the sensor so it would point straight at the spokes, as there wasn't enough clearance. So the sensor was turned 45o toward the back of the bike and the sensor was pointed straight at the magnet. Here is a picture of what it looks like (attachment). Install went smoothly. Everything works as expected.
Bike computers like this one are easy to use and robust. Three of them were purchased for my kids, so they would be able to see how fast they're moving. You'll always know the maximum speed they hit on the trail if you ask them! When it is all said and done, simply tie 4 zip ties. display on this computer is very readable on the road, and its appearance is ideal. When I have to clear the computer I usually have to reset everything which is frustrating. Although I could memorize the directions, I've got other things to do, so when the time comes to put everything back I usually have to do it all over again. It is possible to do this and clearing for the next ride can be done when I hit the buttons correctly.
After having it for about a month, I must say it has been the best value for the money that I have ever bought. Simple and fast 5 minute install, it has proved very accurate on a recent 16 miles round trip off road trek. I even stayed true regardless of the rain. My jaw dropped when I saw what you did! A rugged, small, light-weight device that is Now, it's 8/22/21 and the bike computer did not work after an update . I put fresh batteries in the lower part and it was able to reconnect after a few days of parking. I hope it will still work a year later. This product is great value for money because you use it every day.
It is a manual start. Powered by a push-button, it has a manual start. As well, the device does not accumulate miles or kilometers, so you have to turn it on each time you start riding again. In other words, if you clean up the actual distance, you cannot see the accumulated distance from multiple.
For the first time, I took my new speedometer for a ride this morning, and I am so glad I bought Being able to see how fast and far I was going encouraged me to push harder and make a few extra miles since I have become more active in the last few months and spend a lot more time riding my bike. This application works exactly as described and provides a good range of useful information once you know which buttons to push. In light of that (and I am not implying this as an act of racism) doesn't anyone at these Chinese companies have an uncle or cousin in the United States or England who can translate what should be fairly simple instructions into a grammatical and understandable form? In addition to finding the three components correctly placed, it is difficult to see the diagrams clearly because they are extremely small. It has long been known that Einstein is the father of all discoveries, but I fixed it in If you buy it, make sure you have a shot of whiskey on hand to calm your nerves, or prepare a few curses that you'd like to use. It is a great value for the price.
