Hello,br>I believe the inside of the whistle's little ball is made of cork. These are some fantastic whistles. They are extremely loud and last for a long time. I buy a box every year because the price is so good. Employees who work in the after-school sports program.

No, they aren't packaged separately. They come in a box with 12 small individual compartments that keep each one separated from the others, but they are not wrapped in plastic or anything.

First and foremost, I spent many years as a lifeguard, so I understand the value of a good whistle and what makes a good whistle. I'll be the first to tell you that this is the best whistle you'll ever own. The sound is crystal clear, and it requires far less air to blow than any other whistle I've ever used. It's loud and, thanks to the air feature I mentioned earlier, very easy to blow for a long time; there's just something about how it feels that I can't put into words because it's the perfect whistle. Whistles can now easily be broken. There isn't a whistle on the market that doesn't break after a while. This one, on the other hand, is incredibly tough and long-lasting. Because that's what lifeguards do, it's survived several hits from a metal pole while I was twirling it around my finger in the stand. When that happens, it doesn't usually break. The word "usually" is used because it does happen on occasion, but it does happen with all whistles. The good news is that you still have 11 more whistles in this pack, which includes 12 of the best whistles available! Even so, it's a fantastic price, and all I can say is that if you buy this whistle, you'll never buy another type of whistle again.
