Fox 40 Sonik Blast

A water park is where I work as a lifeguard. As a lifeguard and park employee, I am responsible for enforcing the park's rules. Despite the fact that some people, including myself, do not always want me to do so. I was given a good whistle that was loud and did the job. People, on the other hand, have an uncanny ability to ignore me no matter how much I whistle or yell. My managers were all in favor of this whistle when I brought it up to them. When blown loudly enough, the whistle can actually burst your eardrums, leaving my ears ringing. It drew the attention of the guests, whether they liked it or not, and it helped in a few situations where a life was on the line; it's one of the best whistles I've ever had.

This is the one that I use. When officiating basketball games, it is customary for officials to blow a whistle. When blown, it makes a distinct sound. I've used the classic as well, but there have been times when it wasn't heard; it's so loud that I've made it a habit of turning my head away from the player to blow before handing the ball to them to start a new quarter or after a timeout.

This whistle is one of my favorites for several reasons: 1. br>br> Because there's no ball inside, it won't rattle when worn on a lanyard or attached to a pack. This is by far the best feature!
2. Unlike my previous whistle, which snapped and broke when I held it between my teeth, this one is thick.
3. The ridges and soft plastic on the end make it very easy to hold in your mouth for long periods of time, which is ideal for referees and coaches.
4. Oh my gosh it is loud as s$%@ as s$%@ as s$%@ as s$%@ as s It has a piercing sound that is extremely high and shrill. If you're going to blow, you'll need to plug your ears. Imagine a 4 year old little girl screaming, and you'll get a good idea of what this sounds like. You can blow at different levels, so it's not an all-or-nothing situation.

This whistle is LOUD, and it's a great little whistle. The rubber groves for your teeth make it easy to hold in your mouth, which I like. When I first tried it out, I wished I had covered my ears because I'm no stranger to loud noise from my work in construction and as a shooter. We bought this to call each other or the kids into the house because we live on a few acres and my wife could hear it from at least 350 yards away. We'll have to test it further.

Maybe a tad too much. After a little more than one half (soccer) of the first game I tried this out, I had to switch back to my Fox 40 Classic. When I blew it, the thing was so loud that it hurt. It was as if a railroad spike had been driven into my head. I still use it as a backup whistle in case I need to distinguish myself from a referee on another field. Otherwise, I just use it to indicate the beginning and end of each half.

My go-to whistle is this one. as the job's preferred weapon It is EXTREMELY loud; I went completely deaf for a few seconds after using it in a confined space (please don't do that). I can get someone's attention from a great distance and cut through any background noise. The only thing that bothers me about it is its lack of durability. While it lasts longer than a standard or classic Fox 40 whistle, the volume decreases over time due to the rubber chew guard. I will admit that I have a slight chewing problem, which does affect the volume after a while, as one might expect, but there is a difference in how easy it is to get the most out of the whistle's performance as soon as the chew guard shows signs of wear. Aside from that flaw (which won't be an issue if you don't chew up your whistles after a while), the whistle is perfect and well worth the money. I would strongly advise any lifeguard to take it, even if they have breathing problems or asthma.

It's a very loud whistle. Before blowing into it with full force, give it a light test. My ears hurt when I tried it for the first time!.
