Questions & Answers

Given the comment about the 24 hour clock not working properly - Will the clock display the time in 12 hour format without having to be adjusted every day?

The clock is in working order. We actually unplug our every night and re-plug it the next day, and it keeps time without needing to be reset. I believe the confusion stems from the fact that it operates on military time rather than the standard time used by most people.

Is it possible to purchase a longer power supply cord (at least 6 feet)? Is it possible to plug this one in upside down if it isn't possible to plug it in correctly?

Yes, we have one, or you can order a 12V 2A adapter from Amazon with a long cable.

There will be no beeping from my clock. I tried pressing the volume toggle button on the remote to turn it on, but it did not work. Do you have any suggestions for me?

br>On my timer, there is no way to change the volume. When it's being used, I don't have a problem with it. If I'm doing intervals, I start with a ten-second countdown before the interval starts and a three-second countdown before the interval ends. br>br>This timer has made me very happy. br>br>Yours, on the other hand, should beep, and since you said you can adjust the volume, I'm guessing you have a different version. You could try contacting the manufacturer. br>br>I hope that this information is useful.

Is it possible to use without a power source?

Invest in a 12V USB to 5V power bank. 5x2. 5mm plug. Alternatively, you could purchase a 12 volt battery.

I really like the LARGE LED display and the LOUD beep!   For my home gym, I like the interval timer
5/5

My timer is so loud that I can hear it even when the music is turned up loud. My gym is a dedicated home gym with 9-foot ceilings, rather than a large commercial space with 2-story ceilings. It's not "get your attention in the back row" loud, it's "get your attention in the back row" loud! br>br>With the remote, there is a learning curve, but the functions are all there. The manual contains instructions, but you must read them in order to use the timer; it is not at all intuitive. For my part, I'll keep the manual handy for a while; if you only have a limited routine, learning the functions that YOU will use won't take long. What difference does it make if the rest of it isn't important to you? The lights are extremely bright. br>br> I considered returning it for a smaller one because the letters and numbers are so large, but I couldn't justify the $2 difference. br>br>I'll attach a couple of photos, but a video would be more useful in demonstrating the volume. I'll see what I can do about uploading one as well. br>br>Another thing is that if I unplug it or turn it off for days at a time, it always shows the correct time when I plug it back in. br>br>Assembly was simple and straightforward, and anyone should be able to do it. I didn't even have to mount it into a stud because it's only a couple of screws. br>br>I chose this model because I preferred an aluminum case to a plastic one, despite the fact that it was more expensive. Instead of being made of aluminum, the timer is made of plastic. It doesn't have a cheap vibe to it, but the description is deceiving. I was about to return it in favor of a less expensive model, but after reading so many negative reviews about the volume, I changed my mind. I didn't want to put my faith in anything. br>br>One last point I'd like to mention: The cord is approximately 5 feet long. The length is 5 feet. Most people will want to hang this timer high enough in the room that it can be seen from multiple angles. Unless you have outlets mounted higher on the wall, you won't be able to do so with this cord. My wall receptacle, by coincidence, is 50 inches off the ground. I could have gotten it to work by plugging it in backwards, but some transformers won't let you do that. I didn't want to break my timer, so I spent $8 on an 8-foot power cord from Amazon. This isn't a huge cost, but it's something to think about if your wall receptacle is the standard 18 inches above the ground. br>br>At $110, it's more expensive than some other timers, but it's also bigger, with a 20-inch width, 5-inch height, and 3-inch tall numbers. br>br>I hope you found this review useful. I realize it's long, but I tried to address the issues that came up for me as I looked into gym interval timers. I would not only recommend it, but I would also purchase it again.

Janky! In the instruction manual, there is no mention of literacy
3/5

In the instruction manual, there is a JANKY and egregiously lazy attempt at English—or should I say "human"—literacy. There were no "F's" given. This thing makes no sense at all, with spelling and grammatical errors on every line, as well as "oh here's a diagram of the several 'useless buttons on the remote,' including the big center button 'HIIT,' lol. " However, it appears that "FGB," which is one of the main workout modes, means something to the customer. Yes, creating a workout for FGB is as simple as "press 1, edit 10: C1 00, 00(F1), 00(F1), 00(F1), 00(F1), 60) and finally C- 8 to (initial interval: 00: 00: 00: 00: 25 (and do it again). Don't forget to press the "Ulti-" button on their critically acclaimed "Ulti-" minus the M, because M stands for "meh, I don't need 1st grade spelling to make a living selling trash on Amazon. " "br>This is why I despise buying non-alcoholic beverages. name- Amazon sells a variety of brands. Such a clumsy creation. What a clumsy marketing strategy. What a colossal squandering of consumer funds. Such a travesty to witness in our brief existence, as we embrace mediocrity and fail to contribute to intelligent life on this planet. To put it another way, don't waste your money on this garbage.

There were a few minor issues, but overall, it was a fantastic experience
5/5

When it's lit up, it's massive and stunning. There were a few minor flaws that cost me a star. br>br>1) Massive remote with a plethora of unnecessary buttons. 2) The mounting hardware isn't very good. There are no washers, the screw heads aren't wide enough to catch the bracket slots, and the brackets aren't deep enough to sit flush against the wall when mounted. I ended up having to use my own hardware, which is unfortunate because they wanted to save money when they were spending $100. On hardware, there are 20. br>3) The length of the power cables could be increased by at least two times. br>4) The sound is extremely loud and cannot be reduced. When you're programming a workout and have to listen to all of the beeps, it can get annoying. Even when you press the mute button, it beeps a couple of times to let you know it's muted.

Ideal for use in a home gym
5/5

It was ideal for my garage home gym and was incredibly easy to set up. The various features are not difficult to comprehend, but I have previously used clocks with similar features. If this is your first time using this type of clock, it may be more difficult. On a sunny day, even when set to one of the lower brightness settings, I can see clearly from outside my garage. I haven't used it very often yet, but so far I haven't had any issues. ATL UTD is on the rise!.

It's a good timer for working out at home
4/5

It is highly recommended that you use a gym timer. When you use the gym timer outside, it adds a professional touch. The lack of volume control for the alarm and the difficulty of programming tabatha hiit training are my two major complaints about the product.

Just ok
3/5

It's a good product, but it has to cycle all over again if you do HIIT routines with more than 8 sets. There is no "count down" to the workout starting, unlike the timer on your phone or the rest timer.

Amazing
5/5

This was precisely what I was looking for. It's simple to use once you've figured out how to use the buttons and the remote. It has a good volume. The brightness of the light can be adjusted, which is a useful feature. This gym timer is fantastic! I would strongly advise!.

The money spent was not well spent
3/5

It's inconvenient that the clock won't keep track of the current time. All of the other interval timers appear to be functioning properly. There are better timers at a lower price point, so I would not recommend this to anyone.
