Yes, it's insanely loud, with multiple settings that keep critters and loitering hobos away from our property. This low-tech device is one that I strongly recommend.
The back has a button.
Make sure no other buttons are pressed and that the volume is turned up.
You'll need four C size batteries, not just any.

Because there was a capacity limit due to covid, I purchased this megaphone for my sister's graduation, and it is fantastic! I was standing on the opposite side of a football field, and she claimed she could hear me from the other side! It was used at her parade by my boyfriend, and he really likes it! It was also a hit with my mother, who plans to buy one. I thought I'd only use it for this one occasion, but I'm going to carry it around with me all the time, lol. It was a fantastic product, and the color matched the image perfectly. I have no regrets about buying this; we had a great time!.
I wanted a light pink one, so I ordered "orange" thinking it would be orange, but it is actually light pink, despite the picture. I absolutely adore it!.
This bullhorn was purchased to deter solicitors from knocking on my door. Even though I have a sign on my front door prohibiting solicitors, we still get them from time to time, so whenever unwanted visitors knock on the door, I use the bullhorn's siren to scare them away. I'm not sure how to record a message because the bullhorn didn't come with any instructions.
This product came without any instructions when I bought it. It still doesn't work after I put in the 4c batteries it requires. I double-checked the batteries to make sure they were in the right place. I'm not sure if this is a common problem or if I'm experiencing something unique. I'm coming back.
In a noisy industrial environment, this megaphone could be useful for my team. That is, until 5 uses later, when it stopped working. The siren is completely unnecessary, and the ability to record is also a waste of time. The on/off switch is so sensitive that if you don't realize it's still on after you turn it off, it could drain the battery. It works some of the time and some of the time it does not. That is ludicrous. I'd advise you to keep your cash.
br>My next-door neighbor is extremely creepy. He smokes in his apartment, and the smoke gets into my apartment. I was hoping for something along the lines of aversion therapy. For a time, it worked, but now it's in the hands of the courts.
My spouse was unsure about the color, but we'll see if the kids like it. One of the kids will have something to play with outside, which will amplify their voice. The controls are straightforward, with volumes and mowed buttons on the backside where you can speak. All we have to do now is make sure we're wearing our headphones. Lol.
My voice will return in a few months after throat surgery, but right now I sound like a raspy squeaky mouse, according to my doctor. My voice becomes quieter as I speak louder. It's been a source of annoyance. To make myself laugh, I bought this as a joke. However, it has proven to be extremely valuable. I can now call out to my wife or someone else in another room without straining my voice, and I even recorded myself doing so. This device is fantastic, and I wish I could bring it to work with me.
