This is an early review (we just got an ATV yesterday), but it's such a new product that I wanted to get my thoughts down as soon as possible. In conclusion, I believe this is a well-written book. made, but unfinished the bones of a four-year-old child wheeler. It doesn't appear to be a toy, but rather a baby with an electric motor. four-wheel drive, powered wheeler. There are some features that would be nice to have, such as suspension, reverse, and differential drive, but everything else appears to be well-done. br>br>Welded steel is used for the frame. Bolts and nyloc nuts secure the few plastic panels to the frame, and the components are bolted to the frame beneath the plastic cover. The motor, chain drive, disc brake, steering linkage, tires, and rear axle are all substantial enough for this product to be classified as a miniature ATV rather than a toy in my opinion. A child's electric quad with suspension and other features can be had for five times the price of this one; the only issue I have with this item is with shipping. br>br>During shipping, the elestic strap that secures the two 12 V batteries became loose, resulting in the battery-related issue. As the batteries shifted, the wire connections began to break. The company offered to send me a replacement battery set, but I'd already fixed the wires and declined the offer. The battery-powered device However, the strap issue has been reported by at least one other reviewer, so it's something Pulse Performance Products should look into. br>br>I would give this product five stars based on the value for the price, but until the shipping issue is resolved, I'll give it a four-star rating. star buy. *edit*: br>br>*edit*: br>br>*edit*: br>br> I have two new updates after a few weeks. To begin, the ride will take approximately 20 minutes. The batteries might last forty-five minutes if the child drove on smooth, flat concrete and never turned. As stated in one of the previous responses, five minutes is all that is required. They charge in about three hours, allowing a child to ride the quad several times per day. Spending a little more money on a better charger would cut down on charging time. My second update is that I came across another made-in-China product. For 150% of the price of this one, there is a China electric quad that offers suspension and a larger motor for 150% of this one. I'm not sure if that is a better purchase. This quad continues to be one of my favorites.
I'd give it a 4 out of 5. 5 stars. It's a fantastic ATV, and it's far more popular than their Frozen Jeep. The battery life is a little hit-or-miss. Granted, if you go uphill frequently, the power seems to drain. In addition, when charged, the battery life appears to be improving over time. However, because the price of this toy was reasonable, we won't have any problems purchasing a new battery if it is required. It's a resounding success.
I am the mother of a four-year-old and two-year-old twins. Although the box says it's for ages 8 and up, I've never met an 8-year-old who is small enough for this! It's a hit with my kids! We've had it flipped over a few times and they've run into each other a little, but it's not heavy enough to hurt anyone. This is a fantastic atv for a beginner!.
The strap around the batteries broke, causing them to hang from the machine, and the glue protecting the batteries had fallen off, exposing the wires. Because returning it would have taken too long, I had to "fix it" so that my son could have it on Christmas Eve. I couldn't figure out how to do it because there was nothing in the instructions, so I had to enlist the assistance of a friend. It has a nice appearance and a solid feel to it. However, there should be some troubleshooting information in the directions, or at the very least, a better package. There was also an Allen wrench missing. I was also taken aback by the fact that it isn't reversible.
Until you get to the electrical system, this quad frame and tires appear to be very well built. When the quad arrived, it was battered and falling apart, and the batteries were loose when we lifted it out of the box. Because of the scratches and marks on the body, the quad appeared to have been returned previously. When we connected the electrical system to the house power, it sparked. After that, there is a 14-hour charging period. It was still not running, and a look at the wire connections revealed that the fuse had blown. When we replaced the fuse, the battery connection began to spark. It's a lemon, no doubt. We're returning it and replacing it with a different quad.
This ATV is a big hit with my 4-year-old son. It was a Christmas present for him when he was three years old, and he turned four in late January. I think it's ideal for his age and size, and my husband says it's simple to put together and works well. This is a product that I would strongly recommend.
It's just that he wishes it was the other way around. But I believe we got a good deal for the money!.
The delivery guy tossed our package over the gate, and because the box was not sturdy enough to withstand the toss, the battery and cables were detached, and we had to disassemble the bike. This was a present for my four-year-old son, and there was no way we could order another because he was so excited. We would have returned this item and received a refund if we had the opportunity.
