All of the components were lost, broken, or inserted into a pet almost immediately. But that isn't the toy's fault; we anticipated this and gave it to him (not the pet) anyway. When we took it out of the box, it worked. All of the components were present, and it worked as expected. When placed in the toilet, some of them float for no apparent reason. It was fun for the kid to disassemble and reassemble it. The small impact driver was a nice touch, and everyone except the pets continues to enjoy it.
I was excited to see so many pieces when I opened the box, but disappointment set in almost immediately. The car's description claims it makes engine noises and lights up the headlights, but mine does nothing and can't even find a place to put the battery. My grandson was playing with his fully assembled car when the wheels kept falling off, despite the fact that they were secured as tightly as they could be. You won't be able to remove the screws with the battery-operated drill because it doesn't have reverse. The very basic page of instructions is completely useless, and it also fails to mention any batteries. A small button cell battery fell out from the bottom of the car after my grandson had been playing with it for a while (possible choking hazard or poisoning if swallowed)! I looked over the car several times but couldn't find a way to open it to replace the battery! What a squandering of my hard-earned cash!.
The impact drill toy was a big hit with the kids. The flaws in this toy, however, warrant a three-star rating. Because she enjoys it so much, I gave it four stars. Here are the problems:br>1) The instructions are useless for charging the batteries as well as turning on the sound and lights. 2) There is no external sound on/off switch, which is inconvenient when the sound is on all of the time. We had to turn it off, so there are no lights. br>3) Almost immediately after purchase, one axle developed a defect. When she drives the car forward, that wheel falls off (regardless of who tightens the bolt). br>One last observation: what's up with the "Amazon Choice for '3 yr old boy toys'?" Really? Is it true that women are incapable of changing a tire?.
He was the first to open this one and wanted to start playing with it right away. My sister had him open the rest of his presents, and when he was done, he grabbed it and ran over to me, where we put the car together and took it apart three times before he was satisfied, and we pushed it around the floor for a while. Then, when he decided to play with another new toy, one of his party guests picked it up and demanded that I assist him in disassembling and reassembling it several times. Parents at the party inquired as to where I obtained it. It was a big hit with everyone, and I kept my cool uncle reputation.
It was purchased for my three-year-old son. He enjoys tinkering with things and pretends to be a mechanic. So I went shopping for a toy that allows him to easily remove tyres and other vehicle body parts and repair them (mechanical work, not a difficult puzzle). I saw some cars in stores, but they had some sharp accessories that I didn't think were appropriate for a child. I looked on Amazon and found what I was looking for. I ordered it without hesitation because I couldn't find anything toddler-friendly in any of the stores. When we first saw it, we were enthralled by the vibrant colors and child-safe blunt edges. Because the gun didn't come with batteries, we had to repair it with our hands for a few days, which we enjoyed, and we're still having fun detaching and reassembling it. I didn't care for the continuous and unappealing engine noise, so I turned it off and continued to play with the toy. Without a doubt, I would recommend it to a child who enjoys repairing or fixing things, as well as solving 3D practical puzzles.
I was a little let down. "Light and sound," according to the box's information. I couldn't figure out where the batteries go [or how many and what kind you'll need] because the diagram was so bad, and I couldn't find an on/off switch for the sound and lights. The "motor" appears to be detachable, but the screws have been painted over and are impossible to remove - if they can be taken off I'm keeping it because my three-year-old great-grandson cannot read and will not be aware of features he is unaware of. However, this is a dreadful product.
This toy is incredible! My 3- year- It's a big hit with the youngsters. Drilling is an excellent method of obtaining information. In a day or two, he learned how to operate both drill functions. When he plays with the car, the wheels fall off, but that only adds to the fun as he attempts to repair it. We decided to turn off the sound because we didn't like it. I gave him a simple car and some wheels to play with. I saved the extra pieces for when he gets a little older.
Not only was our 5-year-old grandson overjoyed to receive his own electric screwdriver with which to assemble and disassemble his new car, but his father was also overjoyed because he wants his son to learn to use tools. All of the parts were simple to put together for our grandson. He's still constructing and rebuilding two days after Christmas. The only complaint is that the motor sound switch is built into the car. br>br>It was a great gift at an affordable price. br>br>The only complaint is that the motor sound switch is built into the car. As a result, he must disassemble it in order to silence the noise. That's a bad piece of design.
