I use a silversmith atmosphere air/acetylene torch and was fed up with wasting time with the standard flint striker

I've been using this for about 3 months now, leave it on almost all the time, and the battery is still going strong compared to buying a nearly identical torch igniter on a popular jewelry supply website. If you need to light a torch, this is an excellent lighter. It was a little pricey, but I was aware of that before purchasing it.

This item was purchased from Amazon. In every way, it falls short. The decal was easily removed after it had been glued on. The ignitor is stuck in place, and the rebound action is non-existent. This knockoff is not something I would recommend buying.

A little on the cheap side

It wouldn't turn on when I got it, so I took the batteries out, put them back in, rolled them around, and it took off. I noticed the casing was loose around the bottom of the body. It's for my torch, and so far it's working well.
