I really like the design of the jersey, but it was difficult to find. However, the sizing isn't ideal; it fits my dog's length and neck perfectly, but the fabric beneath his chest isn't cut short enough, and he pees on the Jersey when he goes to the bathroom. So I sewed in a piece of elastic and brought up that piece of fabric closer to the neckline, making the chest piece shorter and out of the way when he goes to the bathroom, as it should be and as it is on his other clothing.
The fabric is of good quality, and the length is appropriate, but it is extremely tight in the shoulders and armpits, making my poor dog very uncomfortable. I'm hoping to stretch it out a little, but if that doesn't work, I'll have to cut some seams to make it more mobile. We didn't get a chance to try it on before the return window closed, so we'll have to make due with what we have. I got an XL for him because he's a 55-pound doberman mix. If you're not sure what size to get, he's tall and lanky, so size up. It's always easier to take a garment in than to try to expand it.
Jerseys are one of my dog's favorite things to wear. "Would you like to put your jersey on?" she asks. " And he sprints away. I got this one when she outgrew her previous one. This is a bargain, and after the second use, the numbers are increasing. My dog is extremely sedentary and rarely moves. That is all I require as long as it lasts the season.
The neckline had a lot of stretch to it! I'm in a terrible mood right now. He only slept in it ONCE, but it's made of a higher-quality material than the similar one on Amazon. I just wish the neck was a little thicker and looked a little more like a high-end ncaa jersey.
They're four poos. Each weighed 8 and 5 pounds, and the jerseys were a perfect fit!.
