Does it have a 5 or 6 star hole for the ?

I do have a 6 star blade that fits it, as it has three. "1995 and newer with a special design for the center hole blade with a 6-point star." Special design must pertain to the center hole blade with three points. It does work, but I was a bit disappointed by 3 when I saw it. It was not necessary for me to purchase the pulley as there was nothing wrong with mine. There are no pre-tapped holes on the mounting surface however, so self-tapping bolts would be required for installation. If the bolts are removed, there is a risk that they will shear. The lawnmower shop tapped mine for me and I got mine at a local shop.
