I paid $39 for it. This item was purchased for my husband for Christmas only a few months ago. Since December, when we first put the cover on our grill, we've never taken it off. During the winter in Ohio, we don't do much grilling. When we took the cover off the grill today, it ripped, cracked, and tore; This product's quality is dreadful. I paid $39 for it. I paid $37 plus tax for this product, and now I'm told I can't return it because the return policy period has passed. This is something I would strongly advise against.
This grill cover was purchased as a Christmas present for my husband. We've only had it for about TWO MONTHS, but it already looks like it's been around for a very long time! It's cracked all over and on the verge of collapsing — and this is all before the grill has even been removed! What a shock! br>br>This product was a complete waste of money and a huge disappointment. The standard grill cover we've been using for the past few years is much better quality (albeit much more boring and plain), and it will soon be replaced by this POS.
Be careful what you buy. ripoff! I bought this item three years ago and, while I was disappointed when I noticed cracks and fading after only a year, it still held up reasonably well and looked really cool in my yard, so I decided to buy a new one this year despite how bad the team is playing without Brady lol. br>br>What you see in the picture is not necessarily what you will receive. The first one I purchased featured a large logo and team name that could be seen from across the pool. It's not worth spending $30 on a grill cover because the logo is so much smaller. Check out the difference between the one I bought three years ago and the one I just got. It is not acceptable to make false claims about a product. If you buy today, you'll get a much larger logo than the one shown in the pictures, but that's not what you'll get. br>br>It's also unjust that I had no idea I wouldn't be getting the same product when I looked up my order from three years ago and clicked on the link to repurchase.
By the second summer, it's a complete shambles. Water pools inside on top of the grill because of the cracks, which is even worse than leaving it out in the elements. If you want a grill cover that you have to replace every year, don't waste your money.
I gave it to my Bears-obsessed husband as a Christmas present, and it's now July, and the entire top of the cover is cracking and splitting. We live in Southern California, where the days are a mix of sunny and overcast, the temperatures are mild, and there isn't much rain. There's nothing too outlandish about this to wear it out so quickly. It's annoying that we'll have to replace the cover so soon.
My propane grill is fairly reliable and standard. I wanted a cheap grill cover to protect it from the elements while also stocking up on Patriots gear. The only reason I gave it an extra star is because of the cover's low price and practicality. It's big enough to cover my grill, it does the job, and it has velcrow straps on each side to pinch under the left and right tables so it doesn't fly away when the wind picks up (how strong the velcrow is will determine whether it'll be enough). It appears to be water-resistant, but it advises keeping the cover out of direct sunlight to avoid color fading (isn't that the point of a cover, anyway?). ) BUT, as you can see from the image on the product versus my unboxing, this product is not being sold as advertised. It's like NO WHERE NEAR THE SCALE AS DESCRIBED, which is kind of amusing. I'm only keeping it because it's less expensive than most grill covers, it still works, and the fact that it's "made in China" is hilarious. If you're going to give this as a gift, make it a joke.
It must not be exposed to sunlight if you purchase it. Although it has a stylish appearance, I would not buy it again. I've only recently purchased it and am in desperate need of a replacement. My next one will almost certainly be black. When it's cold outside, the material feels like brittle plastic, and I'm afraid it'll break. This is, in my opinion, a very low-end product; however, because it was so inexpensive, you get what you pay for.
Because of the poor quality, I reduced my rating from five to one. Although the seller was excellent, the product's quality was subpar. For Christmas, I gave this grill cover to a friend. It's only been four months, and the weather has already faded and ruined it. I had hoped it would last a little longer.
