Hello, no, it does not provide enough light for reading. The light is reflected straight up to the ceiling. Last year, I purchased it for my son. He enjoys it, but not for the purpose of doing his homework. I hope this has been of assistance.

Our fandom is one of the largest in our family. It's also more appealing when you can get the most BANG FOR YOUR BUCK with your gift! Typically, more than half are panther-related, but it has to be unique enough to make everyone want it (and steal it), and my family most likely has every Carolina panther item available! As a result, I have arrived at this conclusion. (I apologize for the long ramble, but I felt it was necessary)br>br>THE REVIEW: • ONE-OF-A-KIND KINDA FAN GEAR – I haven't seen this selling in box retailers, maybe it's an older product? It's not something I have found anywhere else, let's just say thatbr>• PRICE IS UNBEATABLE I would have paid triple that to be honest, taking into account durability and stature etc. br>• QUALITY IS GREAT FOR THE PRICE I wouldn't say it's superb quality, or amazing, I would say all is determined by the price. If I paid $40, I would say the lamp shade is a little flimsy to justify the price. It's all plastic, and the shade is more of a flimsy plastic. It's definitely more sturdier than solo cup plastic, but it could still easily bend or break (I would be cautious around small children). The rest of the lamp is a very hard, sturdy plastic, and I would consider it very durable. The projector light works great (even though it's daylight in my photo), and it was able to project the logo up to my 9-foot ceiling at 2 p. m. The light shining outwards (from the shade) appears to be adequate, similar to a brighter night light but not as bright as a bedside lamp. br>• CONVENIENT has two power options: USB (android charger) or battery (3 AAA). Neither of these options are included with the product, but I was aware of this and was perfectly happy to use my own for $10. It worked right away after I plugged it into one of my Android chargers that I had lying around. I also tried the battery power option, which worked exactly as it was supposed to. It also has a toggle switch for turning it on and off. (I provided photos of all of the product's components. ) The battery is located beneath the lamp's "feet," and the power switch is located on the heel of the feet in the back, next to the USB plug. OVERALL, I DO NOT REGRET MY PURCHASE, AND IN FACT, I AM ABOUT TO PURCHASE ANOTHER FOR MY SON'S STOCKING. I AM NOT ONE TO KNIT PICK AND FIND PROBLEMS IN THINGS JUST BECAUSE I FEEL LIKE I HAVE TO GIVE THE "GOOD" AND THE "BAD" I WEIGH EVERY SINGLE PURCHASE I MAKE HEAVILY ON REVIEWS I READ, SO I TRY TO BE AS FAIR AND HONEST AS I CAN, FIRST TO THE OTHER BUYERS, BUT ALSO TO THE SELLERS. SURE, THE LAMP SHAPE IS FLIMSY AND YOU SHOULD BE CAREFUL WITH CHILDREN WHO OWN IT, BUT IS IT WORTH SUBTRACTING STARS IF YOU WERE LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET IT FOR $10, LIKE I WAS? WHEN IT SEEMS LIKE YOU'RE GETTING A STEAL? THIS IS A STEAL, TO BE SURE. AND I TRULY BELIEVE THAT ANYONE WHO PURCHASES WILL BE OVERJOYED! This piqued his interest, and he thought it was great! I was dissatisfied, however, when I read the contents and discovered that it did not include a wall-plug cord. I've never heard of a LAMP that doesn't have a cord. I did purchase a cord in the same order that I purchased this, but I was disappointed that I had to. It should not be necessary for someone receiving this as a gift to purchase a cord in order to use it. Even if it can run on batteries (which aren't included), it's not worth it.
It has the appearance of a toy. If you want a joke gift, this is the one to get.
What a fantastic presentation! My son loved the very clear logo on the ceiling! The base itself is somewhat flimsy and odd. It's more of a novelty light than a desk lamp in my opinion. In any case, it was a huge hit with my Patriots fan!.
As a Christmas present, I gave this lamp to some of my friends. The lamp is a big hit with them. The lamp illuminates the Seattle Seahawks lamp and projects a beautiful image onto the ceiling. For myself, I intend to purchase one.
This project is small, difficult to see, and blurry, and it only projects directly above the lamp. I would not recommend it in the least.
Within a month, the price had risen by nearly $20. Originally, they cost $20. Only one of the two that I ordered actually worked. I swapped it out, and the second one only works when it's plugged in. Batteries were all brand new. In Dec. They used to be around $20 each, but now they're nearly $40. Very dissatisfied.
The ideal present for a young fan! His was a big hit with my godson.
