Stainless steel is used. I haven't noticed any flaws, but things only last as long as you look after them. If you have a lot of fluids, I recommend whipping them off.

After only one use, it had rusted. Now it's stained and there's no way to clean it up. Because there is no clear coat, it is permanently stained once you use it. They look nice and are perfectly cut, but they don't have a sealing coat on them, so you'd be better off buying something else that's cheaper because they don't look good out on the table after you've used them. It does not prevent moisture from reaching the table. Because I didn't notice until I moved the coaster that it went right through, my table is now damaged. If you want to use them for what they were designed for, don't buy them. Simply for the sake of appearance. I would buy something else ten times out of ten.
These coasters were purchased for our bedroom nightstands. They appeared to be quite nice when I got them. They began to rust after a week, and I noticed that the cork gets wet and soaks through to the bottom, where it remains moist, as does the nightstand. I can't leave a glass of water on the coaster overnight because there's a wet spot on the night stand when I lift up the glass and the coaster in the morning; I'm very disappointed because they look so bad now, and we haven't even had them a month, and I'm going to have to throw them out. I wouldn't recommend wasting money on these unless you're only going to wear them for show and won't be using them. I didn't want to give it one star, but you have to give it at least one star in order to write a review, so I'll try to upload some photos to show you guys.
Meh. These are only passable. The quality left me a little disappointed. I had high hopes for it. They're a little heavy, but that's all. One was scratched, while the other had cork pieces on the front. It is not something I would suggest. After reading the reviews, I wish I had done so before placing my order. I'm sure I could have found better coasters somewhere else. I also didn't like the fact that it's shown with a holder, implying that the holder is included with the set, which it is not.
I was ecstatic to get this for my boyfriend in the mail. They appear to be well-made, with a great look to the steel. They are rusting after only one use, which is extremely disappointing. My glass didn't even make a lot of sweat. In my drink, I had one ice cube.
They had just been opened to be used, and one of the coasters had completely rusted out of the package. Of course, the return window has closed, leaving us with a set of rusted coasters to use on game day. Made for a very low price. They're also incredibly sticky, as if they've been smeared with glue. I would not recommend buying it. Disappointed to say the least!.
I like these coasters, but the first time I used them (with a regular water cup), they developed a strange stain that I can't seem to get rid of. Because they have small cutouts and fabric, as well as paper towel particles, they're a little difficult to clean. They were purchased as a gift for my fiancée, and he absolutely adores them. It's nice that they aren't just any old cardboard coaster. A great stocking stuffer or gift for those who have everything their favorite team has to offer.
They corrode as soon as they are wet, and even with the cork on the back, moisture from the drink runs down it and under the coaster, wetting the table! What a waste of a coaster ride! I'm not going to put them on the table because they look so bad. They weren't cheap either! BUY THESE THINGS AT ALL COSTS!.
I purchased this set for my home office, but I am not pleased with it. They look fantastic and are extremely cool - However, in the three months since I bought them, all four have rusted out and I now only use one at a time (3. Shelf life: 5 weeks per coaster's life). I usually put my Yeti (which doesn't sweat) on them, but I've had a few to-dos. go cup or a sweaty aluminum can on the coaster Because the purpose of the coaster is to protect against moisture, it shouldn't rust if it gets wet occasionally. I wouldn't buy it again unless I was assured that the surface had been repaired.
