A Bruins lunchbox of the same size has been replaced by this one, not because it needed replacing, but because it's a Bruins box. Currently, I am still off of work because of this Corona fiasco, so I have not had a chance to practice using it. It looks great, and I know it will fit my needs since it's the same size as the last one I bought. Although I can't say for sure how durable the product will be, the quality seems excellent. I would probably start by getting rid of zippers. This is a good looking set. Those are the results of my tests. Whether it is safe or not, depends on how long it is used.
The first one shrunk and the blue insert would not fit after it was washed and dried in the washing machine. I had to buy a second one because it had to be washed and dried again. The bag is perfect for lunch as long as you wash it by hand!.
The product I bought for my friend a couple of months ago was really disappointing. When she tried it on for the first time, the zipper teeth were crooked and she returned it to me, saying it would soon break.
It works well. This is a great product for nine year olds who forget they have food in them from the day before. It is really easy to clean too.
I am not in a position to comment on how well this product does, as it was a gift.
What a great idea. Along with my son's Bentgo box, he fits a freezer pack in it perfectly. He returns to the scene 6 hours later with the freezer pack still cold. It has been run through the dishwasher several times without incident after I removed the hard plastic.
The look and feel of the product is cheap. In turn, I return it, as it is a gift, and he has a better lunch pale steady now.
It's pretty nice, and is very sturdy. I am very satisfied with this.
