A chunk of the paint had come off and the chipped surface was chipped. A used item like that looked to be in good condition.

It's cute, and my 8-year-old son likes it, but I noticed as soon as I opened it that there were a few marks that were different from the rest of the color. Like it had been They must be like that for some reason, because it's a nice size paperweight, but the quality is poor. The previous reviews referred to that, but I was hoping it was just a coincidence since we needed it for a school presentation, and I hoped it wouldn't appear on ours as well. It was disappointing.
