It has the appearance of a high-end blanket. I was a little concerned at first because I wasn't sure if these would be thin or cheap blankets, but they aren't! First and foremost, they are enormous, extremely soft, and have a thickness to them that makes them appear more expensive than they are. I ordered them as Christmas gifts for two of my friends (an Ohio State Buckeye and an Iowa Hawkeye), and they both loved them! br>br>Also, I read reviews that said they didn't wash well and left fuzz all over the washer, so I waited to write this until after we tried washing and had no issues, no fuzz, no nothing!.
For my parents' Christmas gifts, I bought two Alabama Crimson Tide blankets. We're thrilled with these blankets because they've been Bama fans for a long time. The colors are vibrant, and the design is exactly what you see on the website. They have a thick and soft texture to them. The product appears to be of high quality. These OVERSIZED (6080) blankets were a huge hit with me. It's not difficult to find small team blankets, but it's much more difficult to find lovely oversized ones. As soon as they're back in stock, I'm going to send one to my brother.
This blanket is incredibly poorly made, with fibers strewn across your clothes and living room furniture. br>br>My lovely wife surprised me with this wonderful-looking pair of shoes. For my birthday, I'd like to get a blanket that looks like this. When I first saw what was inside the package, I was overjoyed. I was excited to watch the College Football Playoff while dressed in Buckeye scarlet and grey! br>br>However, it didn't take me long to realize that this would not be the case. My clothes were completely covered in red fibers from head to toe after I used the blanket! I assumed it was just because it was new, and that it would stop shedding after a while, but that was not the case. The blanket was still shedding a lot. Then I discovered that by pinching the fibers between my thumb and finger, I could easily pull them away from the blanket with no resistance! br>br>My wife tried to contact the company to express her dissatisfaction, but she never received a response. br>br>As a result, I will no longer purchase from this company.
The reviews expressing dissatisfaction with the amount of lint, fiber, and fuzzies on this item are accurate. I thought it was fantastic when I first got it, and I sat on the couch covered in it. It was fantastic! Warmth, comfort, and softness are all words that come to mind when thinking of this But when I awoke an hour later, I was completely covered in lint! That's when I took a closer look at the blanket and realized how many tiny fibers and fuzzies were present. I attempted to make a rug out of it. Even after running the hose of my vacuum cleaner over every inch of it, it LOOKED better, but even the tiniest pinch was yanking out fibers. After reading some reviews about it ruining the next several loads of people's laundry, I was hesitant to wash it. I finally gave up and declared it a loss, then threw it away! I would strongly advise you to look for a throw blanket somewhere else! I'm serious. It's a complete farce. I don't usually write reviews. It takes a special circumstance for me to add my two cents. This was particularly dreadful!.
Maybe it's because of my washer/dryer or because I'm doing something wrong, but this blanket sheds like a Siberian Husky. I've washed it four times now, and both the washer and dryer are full of messes. I'm hesitant to put it on the couch where I planned to put it because I'm afraid it will leave fuzzies all over the place, as it has already done. On the next load of laundry, there were traces of red. It's actually become a mess for me, which is quite unpleasant because I was looking forward to having this blanket on my couch before football season started, but at this rate, I'll probably just wash and dry it until it dissolves and disappears in the lint trap. br>br>**Downgraded from a three-star rating to a one-star rating*
Update: This product has turned into a zillion fuzzies and lint all over my clothes, towels, and sheets. The blanket's lint and fuzz cover anything that was washed after it. I've been coughing for the past few days because I'm pretty sure these fuzzies got stuck in my throat. My apartment is filled with a constant throbbing headache and pain. This is without a doubt the worst blanket I've ever owned in terms of quality.
We now have reddish/pinkish fur balls all over the house; how they got from my son's first-floor bedroom to our second-floor bathroom is a mystery to me (perhaps they were attracted to the dogs). Anyway, this thing sheds so much that you'll think you're being attacked by Tribbles (if you haven't seen the Star Trek episode, look it up). br>br>I strongly advise against purchasing this blanket. GO FOR IT if you want to play a practical joke on a friend and give them a headache!.
I intended to get my boyfriend a regular fleece blanket as a gift, but on second thought, I decided to get one that represented his favorite sports team. In order to do so, I assumed I'd have to compromise on quality. While I could have probably found a higher-quality fleece blanket for the same (or even less) money, I am very pleased with this purchase: it is warmer than I expected, softer than I expected, and washes beautifully (washer and dryer). It doesn't leave "fuzzies" all over the place like some of the other reviews claimed. It was a good investment.
