This was a gift for my boyfriend, and he and his kids absolutely adore it! It's just a blanket; they've had it for six months and it's in perfect condition. I'm not sure what the negative reviews are about, but they must have absurdly high blanket standards! We absolutely adore it!
It's the perfect blanket for me. Not too skinny or too heavy. It is pleasant to be in. I bought a couple of these blankets and am very pleased with them.
The blanket is 50" x 60".
It's 50 inches wide by 60 inches long, or about 4 feet by 5 feet in size.

To begin with, I did not receive the blanket depicted in the photo. I was given a blanket that was missing the rooster logo. However, if the blanket quality had been even close to what I expected, I would have easily overlooked it. This blanket is cheap and thin, and it isn't even close to the quality I'd expect from a team's sponsored blanket. Even $8 would be too much for me. This blanket is available at Walmart for 00. BIG FAIL.
I was extremely disappointed. This was purchased as a birthday present to replace one that had been broken for seven years. This was only good for a single wash.
This was purchased as a Christmas present for my girlfriend, who is a die-hard Duke basketball fan. The size, color, and softness are all excellent. HOWEVER. The stitching on the seams has come undone after one wash on the gentle cycle. A blanket that was only used for a month now looks like a worn-out rag. Very let down. It's made worse by the seller's lack of contact information.
It's great, but it sheds a lot of lint when you wash it! It's a lot of work! I'd let it wash on its own before using the lint remover. Everything we washed it with was covered in lint! It was extremely inconvenient, and after the second wash, a section of the edge stitching had come undone. I'm not sure if the lint issue has been reported by others, but if I had known, I would not have bought it and would instead have continued my search for a better gator throw blanket. Because it's so large, I don't think it's worth the effort of having to remove lint every time I wash it. However, once that's taken care of, it's clearly fantastic. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I gave it away because I was sick of being pilled all the time! It's not worth the trouble. I'd give 0 stars if I had the option.
We had to have this great throw blanket because we are big FSU fans. This blanket is extremely plush and cozy. The color is beautiful and matches the description. This is a company from which I will definitely purchase again.
My 3rd grader only uses it when he's on the couch watching the Tar Heels. It just fell apart, and I can't return it because it's from Amazon and past the 30-day return period (which is ridiculous), and I can't find the company that made it to try and get a replacement. He's very upset about this because it was a Christmas present.
However, there is a flaw on the bottom; a line runs all the way across it, and it is ripped in a straight line, as if it was cut with a knife or scissors. I'm hoping they'll let me exchange it for another. It was far too nice a blanket to rip the way it did.
My granddaughter received this as a Christmas present. It had a large blue streak through the (supposed to be ALL white) UK letters after she opened it and spread it out. I was unable to return the gift to my granddaughter. But I couldn't bring myself to pay for something that was supposed to have no flaws. br>This was a hit with my granddaughter.
