Not a particularly tall individual. This is a nice little sunshelter on the beach. We bought it primarily for the purpose of attending our children's soccer and volleyball games. The only drawback is that it is insignificant. We assumed we'd sit in it during soccer and other activities because the pictures showed a chair inside. Our small folding camp chairs were put to good use. Well. Only if you want to sit on the ground or have a chair that is 3 inches off the ground will you be able to do so. While a larger chair would fit, you'd have to sit bent over to fit inside; perhaps I should have noticed this based on the measurements, but I didn't. Overall, I like it enough to keep it, but it won't meet our primary need, so we'll use it when we need to sit on the ground, such as at the beach.
The tent is wonderful. It's constructed in a way that I find appealing. You can watch your children participate in sports while staying out of the sun and/or bad weather. It appeals to me. The tent is extremely well constructed. It has a similar thickness to that of a camping tent. There are tent rods that connect to each other and appear to be well-made. On the outside of the tent, there are spots where you can add weight to keep it in place on windy days. You can also use the stakes that come with it. This is useful when you don't have access to stakes or the ground is too difficult to use them in. This allows you to keep your tent secure. Everything folds up neatly and can be tucked away in the bag. I got it on the first try, so you don't have to waste time rolling up the tent just to get it into the bag. That's an added advantage. It's great that everything fits in the bag. The only drawback was the shipping time, which took over a month to arrive, so don't order this if you're in a hurry. It is well worth the wait if you are a patient person. This is something I think you should look into.
Shelter is stylish and effectively displays your school's vibrant and bold colors. The school's and logo's lettering is very nice. The material used to construct a shelter is typical; The material is thin, strong, and light. The shelter is much smaller on the inside than it appears on the outside. To appreciate the shelter with a chair, you must be a small individual. br>Either a plus or a minus can be found at the bottom. When used on moving ground, such as sand, it is prone to tearing. br>Shelter stakes are the standard small plastic stakes that aren't very strong. It took a lot of effort to keep them from breaking. They'd be useless in soft sand. The bags on the side of the shelter can be used to add sand, etc. to help weight the shelter down on the sand; however, the downside is all that sand and the cleanup required to get it back into the bag when finished. br>The storage bags that came with the shelter were not designed to hold additional items. When the shelter is taken out of the factory packaging, it's always a challenge to get it folded perfectly so that it can be put back in the bag without too much effort; sand all over it won't help. The side screens help with visibility and airflow.
Note: If you have some plastic bags on hand, you can fill them with sand and place them in the sand pockets to make teardown easier.
I have competitive swimmers in my family, and this type of tent is ideal for long days in the sun. We have one that is quite large and useful. and half of the team will be able to fit in However, it is cumbersome and difficult to assemble. I was hoping for a positive outcome. br>Because the weather isn't conducive to outdoor use right now, we set it up in the basement. This one is about a quarter of the size of my larger one, making it much easier to transport and set up. It is, however, more compact. A significant reduction in size. It is not possible to set up chairs for sitting. A chair is all it is. I would have to slouch if I were tall. It can fit three kids shoulder to shoulder. There is no room to spread out. The half-round shape allows you to stuff gear or "stuff" into the edges, and it should also help weigh it down if you don't want to peg it. br>The construction is good, and there are no manufacturing flaws that I can find. The image that was printed was crisp and clear. The opening/mesh window allows for wind to pass through, ensuring that it does not blow over or away like other tents we've seen at shows.
When I first opened the box and saw this tiny little umbrella-like shape in the sleeve, I was a little concerned, but it's the perfect size for my needs. I live in the country, where there are no trees or shade. I made this for my kids to provide shade, and it pops up quickly and easily. The best part is that it packs away easily and stores in a small little sleeve with a handle. I've used large umbrellas for shade before, and while they're more adjustable, I prefer this for compatibility and ease of setup and takedown. It also has a strong OSU theme. We've also used it to keep the wind at bay while having a bonfire, and it worked well. My three children are able to sit comfortably and fit under it. I don't think the fabric will rip or tear because it is thick and strong. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple sun shelter or weather protection.
My wife and I are hopeful that we will be able to put this windbreaker to use soon. It's very easy to put together this design. 3 poles in total with stakes included OR 2 pockets on each end that you can fill with sand to anchor it down at the beach. It took me about 10 minutes the first time to put it up, and now that I know how to do it, it only takes me about 10 minutes the second time. Next time, keep it to 5 minutes or less, and once it's up, leave it alone. If it's facing the wind, it'll behave like a kite, so keep that in mind. Oh yeah. GO BUCKS!.
When you live in Florida, whether you're at the beach or at an outdoor sporting event, you could use some shade and protection from the sun. This tent was simple to put together for one adult, though the instructions could have been clearer, and the logos are nice and large. Stakes or sand bags can be used to secure the tent. There are even a few windows and storage pockets for ventilation. The stakes and poles have their own storage bag when it's time to put them away.
