My Alabama Cabana is a place where I can relax and enjoy myself. I purchased two of these. One of my concerns is that the items should be labeled. rather than just showing pictures of the items that are included. The instructions should be more clear, and the illustrations should be in color rather than black/white/grey. The four very long black strings There are only eight anchors (no bean bags). As a result, newcomers will be perplexed when setting it up.
FYI: On a Windy Day, photographs are displayed.
It was a little difficult to set up at first, but after some trial and error, I was able to get it working. It comes with instructions, and the illustrations made the process go more smoothly. It comes highly recommended from me. 🙂.
With my Sooner Edition build, I purchased this to use at car shows and car meets. Other reviews claim that it is difficult to assemble, but it is not! You can put this together if you've ever set up a tent! It's honestly super simple, has a black floor attached so you don't get dirty if you sit on the ground, and the two rods with a rubber grommet on the end make up the front, and the long rod goes across the "back" or side to side. It has enough room for two camping chairs and a small foldable camping table.
The first time we used it, the wooden poles broke. When we called the company to inquire about getting/buying new poles, they said they didn't have any in stock, but they do have the same product for sale on their website. 😩.
I would give this a zero if I could. Terrible design; even with all four corners anchored, it tips over in the slightest breeze. I needed some shade at the beach and thought this would be perfect; boy, was I mistaken. When setting up, I noticed a rip in one of the pole seams, then realized it wasn't just one seam; EVERY SEAM HAD TEARS IN IT. On the finished edges, there are also loose and frayed strings. Bought this for beach shade, but didn't realize the floor was made of black thick plastic that gets hotter than the sand, so the shade the canopy provided was useless because the floor was cooking everything inside. The price was higher than any other one they sell because it was emblazoned with the University of Minnesota logo. I feel like I got a MSU garbage canopy for a U of M price; don't buy it; it's garbage.
To keep it in place, I had to tie it down with a rubber band.
If you want to use it, I would not recommend it to you. Although the concept is appealing, it is unworkable. I wouldn't give it any stars, but you are required to do so in order to leave a review. 😡.
