I like the way it looks, but if it hadn't already passed the return period, I would have returned it today. My father just took it out of the box for the first time today, which I bought for Father's Day. Unfortunately, one of the plastic pieces used to secure the canopy snapped right away. A brief 10 minute rain shower came through shortly after I set up the canopy tent, and the canopy leaked at ALL seams. It's a shame because I really liked the canopy tent's appearance, and now I'm stuck with a $200 tent that leaks on the first day. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> This canopy tent is useless after only two days of use. There is a breeze because we are near the beach - There was no strong wind, just a light breeze on the beach. Not only does it leak after two days, but it also has holes where the canopy is held together with screws. More photos have been added to show how the screws are rough (not filed down) and the canopy tent is riddled with holes (at least two on each side). br>I'm sorry I didn't open and use this product right away because I would have returned it within the 30-day refund period. We missed it because it was a Father's Day present that we didn't need until this weekend. This, on the other hand, was a waste of $200. br>br>I'm hoping for a response from the company.
I was dissatisfied with the quality of this product, which I bought for my husband for Father's Day in 2019. My husband fixed it after we returned home from vacation, put it up in our yard, it stormed one night, and now it's in pieces laying in the yard. The metal is very cheap and easily breaks. Definitely not worth the money; the canopy next to it is a $40 Walmart canopy that has survived two storms with high winds, one of which destroyed this one.
It is emblazoned with the logo of the Oklahoma Sooners. Metal is inexpensive and easy to bend or break. Do not waste your time with this nonsense!.
You couldn't possibly go wrong for the price. So far, the product has exceeded my expectations. I only gave it four stars because the small spring-loaded pushbutton mechanisms inside the leg sections were all twisted up when we first tried to set it up. To remove, bend back, and re-install the springs, I had to use needle-nosed pliers. Thankfully, we had a warm-up session before heading to the game. We wouldn't have been able to use the tent unless someone had needle-nosed pliers with them if we hadn't brought them!.
We used it twice and liked it both times because it kept a large rainstorm away from us the first time. A gust of wind hit the metal frame the second time, snapping it in multiple places. There is no way to fix it. For one, it is not worthwhile to purchase. 5 uses. The frame is of poor workmanship.
The product is made in such a way that it is almost unusable - At the very least, don't expect it to last much longer. The bag was ripped, the pole clips that allow you to extend the canopy's height were broken, and two of the cross support beams immediately broke at the weld points when used. I strongly advise you to avoid buying this product and instead go to Costco to find something similar. Because we didn't use the canopy right away, the 30-day return period had passed us by. It was a valuable lesson - Check all Amazon purchases as soon as they arrive because there's a chance they're defective or poorly constructed.
There is no way to return it or contact the seller to inform them that it is defective. I've also noticed that my tent isn't the only one that's been damaged. I was looking forward to representing my team at the beach, but it appears that I won't be able to do so any longer. It's not even close to being worth the money. Buying a bunch of beach umbrellas and putting them all together is a better option.
It didn't even make it through one season of tailgating. I bought three of these tents and only used them five times before they all broke. The leg snapped, and the metal cross-over parts in a few places snapped as well. To keep the tents together, we have to use zip ties. I'm extremely disappointed!.
