Franklin Sports Kids Knee Hockey Stick & Ball Set - NHL - Soft Sport

As far as I know, this is my second purchase of a Franklin Hockey stick. This second one, an NHL version from Amazon, was a warehouse special, and in comparison, it is clear that it was not tightly bound enough. The first one from Amazon was a brand new St Louis Blues stick and it was perfect. It will be a difficult decision, but I caution you to take this at $13.

It didn't take long for one of the hockey sticks to break. The others enjoy them, otherwise. A piece of duck tape was applied to the stick, and it helped greatly.

She played in the backyard with their dad and her big sister, who had a bigger kids hockey stick. The height of this stick is just right for a toddler. She wanted to play with a stick, but I couldn't find one that was her size. In addition, the entire stick is padded, so if she misses, she won't get hurt. Likewise, we won't get hurt either if we are struck by it. There is no collapse to the ball, but it is soft. This is a stuffed ball that rolls on pavement well and plays well. I'm giving this four stars because of the two reasons listed below.

We do not have the smoothest driveway out there, but we noticed it was working fine. First of all, the stick is a bit hard for a toddler to hold onto. It would've been helpful if the top of the top were narrower so they could get used to the mechanics and stances of the game. It can be frustrating for her to hold the stick when she has to constantly switch hands. In the second place, the ball is going to last a short time. I've been hitting it against the driveway for an hour or so and it's showing some Although I do not expect it to last extremely long, a thicker material would make life a little easier. The set comes with a nice case that I love and when my husband and the girls play hockey out back, I really enjoy watching them. Participating in the games and having their own equipment are their favorite parts. It is a good toy that deserves at least a 4 star rating, but could easily be improved for a 5 star rating. The price is still reasonable to me, and I actually plan to get another one to replace this one when it becomes too worn out.
