The Team sticks are 48" in length and are designed for juniors.
Yes, if you have a saw or a hacksaw, you can easily cut it. If you haven't purchased plastic of some sort, it isn't wood.
To be honest, I'm not very knowledgeable about hockey physics, but I am familiar with body mechanics. And I imagine it has a lot to do with the way you hold the hockey stick. Lower the stick with your right "power" arm and stronger hand; So, when you're going to take those power shots, for instance. ie; Slap shots allow you to put as much power as possible behind them, thanks to your strong dominant hand and shoulder.
If you're talking about your own floors, I'd say no because you might scuff or mark them, but if you're talking about a school gym or something similar, then yes.

GUYS! GET THIS OUT OF YOUR SYSTEM IMMEDIATELY! My husband is a huge Penguins fan, so I was overjoyed to be able to get him this. However, as can be seen in the photos, there is damage right out of the box. / I attempted to contact the company, but received no response. THOUSANDS OF TIMES. Furthermore, the color scheme is completely incorrect. The colors were supposed to be Black, Gold, and White, but they were VERY orange, not Gold or even Yellow, as I had expected. In any case, don't buy it. Poor quality of product and service.
It's a stick made of plastic with a sticker on it. It's about what I expected, though I'm disappointed that the sticker is already peeling off after only a month of use and with only light use.
My husband is a huge Flyers fan, so we recently finished the basement. So, instead of using a rod, I bought Flyers fabric and made tab curtains to hang from a hockey stick! He is smitten with them. I bought the stick holders to hold the sticks that "snap" into place. They were also found on Amazon.
Love it! Because it was a little too long for my husband, he had to cut the end and wrap it in athletic tape. He is ten years old and stands at a height of just over four feet. My husband, I believe, made a 6-inch cut. To make it fit better, I took 8 inches off. Apart from that, my son adores his new stick, which he has used extensively and which has remained sturdy and strong. This is a hockey stick that I would strongly recommend.
The Drawbacks: br>br> br>br>All the way down the stick, the vinyl wrap around decal's lip was slightly lifted. When you hold it in your hands, it feels extremely cheap. The top of the stick's cap had been scraped up badly. br>The price is not justified by the quality. It's something I'd be willing to pay $10 for.
It only lasted two days of use before snapping. Conserve your funds.
It was a hit with my nephew. It appeared to be well-made and to be exactly what was advertised.
In the man cave, it'll look great!.
