Nice!
5/5

I'm a sailor from a bygone era. I play roller hockey and ice hockey, and I've had the same Easton two-piece stick for over 20 years. The stick was much shorter when I first started playing. I had a 51" wood knob on the handle of my Easton shaft that was short, and I used these when I was 16/17 years old, and apparently I was shorter than I am now because I never thought the stick was too short, but I made a fool of myself when I tried to take a slap shot with my Easton stick and missed the puck and fell down. Lol. I was able to knock clappers at around 80mph after purchasing this extension. br>br>Be aware that this extension is hollow composite and does not have a plug at the end. It's completely hollow, but it's incredibly sturdy. With skates on, my stick comes up to my chin after these are installed. I'm about 6'1". br>br>Installation is a breeze. I would recommend using a heat gun, but be careful not to heat the glue on the carpet, as this plug comes with a lot of black glue that will stain your carpet and be impossible to remove. I'd recommend putting newspaper underneath you or installing this plug on wood, tile, or vinyl flooring so it's easy to clean if the glue drips down, which it will. I understand why this plug comes with so much glue, but I don't think it's necessary. Simply heat the plug until the glue appears to be liquid, then insert it into your shaft as soon as possible. You will not be able to properly install this plug if the glue is not sufficiently heated. I believe I saw some reviews where people claimed they couldn't install these because they didn't bother to heat up the plug and glue first. You'll be able to install these perfectly and quickly if you use your brain and realize that you need to melt the glue. I 100% recommend this plug to go on your shaft

I 100% recommend this plug to go on your shaft
I 100% recommend this plug If you have a stick that is too short for you, this is a great tool to have. Best of luck!.

I couldn't get the Bauer stick to go all the way in
4/5

By hand, I wouldn't be able to get into my Bauer NSX stick. br>- I had to pound it on the ground (on a rag to avoid causing too much damage).
- My stick's plug/insert, which I had put on the end of this plug, broke around the edges due to the pounding, unevenly lodging itself inside. br>- So I was pounding a cookie at the time. Slits in the rag are cut with the cutter edge on the ground.
- The difficulty was caused by the inside of my stick's shaft shave the adhesive/rubber on the plug as it went in.
- I wasn't able to return at this time.
- I ended up stopping halfway through and simply taping it up.
- It shouldn't be so difficult. br>- Is it possible that I'm overlooking the fact that Bauer sticks come in a variety of thicknesses?
- There were no instructions or anything indicating that anything special (heat up, get wet, etc. ) should be done. If I could do it all over again, I'd probably get it wet, but given how much my stick was cutting into it, I'm not sure it would've made a difference.
- It would have been nice to have it completely set up. br>- Man, $20? br>br>Recent changes: br>br> Oh, I had read the product description before, but now I see that you need to read the reviews to figure out how to heat it up. It should be mentioned in the product description or an insert that comes with it. For the time being, I'm upgrading it from two to four stars until I have more time to work with it. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> It's just a matter of getting it hot enough. I'm keeping a star off because there were no instructions, and as a result, my stick's plug/insert was damaged; all of this could have been avoided if it had simply said something.

The fit was perfect, and the installation was simple
5/5

With a traditional hair dryer, you won't be able to hear the glue. It has a slightly higher melting point. I used a hot air gun that was designed for industrial use.

It's not designed to be used in a competitive environment

Because my son grew too quickly and his stick wasn't strong enough, he used this extension. It broke in half the first time I used this extension. ' '.

I really like it! It was fantastic and worked perfectly; if you don't have a heat gun, a hair dryer will suffice, but it will take much longer! I used a hair dryer to extend the time I had with my son's hockey stick

There's no point in buying a new one while Covid is still active!.
