Questions & Answers
It is compatible with all round end composite stick brands.
Junior
It's a little thicker, but since it's made of wood, you can work on it to make it smaller. It isn't a perfect fit for a junior size.
Hello,br>br>Thank you for visiting our Amazon store and taking a look at one of the items we have available. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Because the Bauer Prodigy is a youth stick, the junior stick extension will not fit in most youth sticks. We're hoping that someone will begin to develop a youth stick extension that will work with youth sticks such as the Prodigy. If you have any additional concerns, please contact us. Once again, I appreciate your help. Larry, LNC Sports, LLC (br>br>Larry, LNC Sports, LLC (br>br>Larry, LNC Sports, LLC (br>

For my kids' Easton Stealth C7 and Easton Synergy junior sticks, I purchased two more. The shaft diameter of both sticks is the same. The two junior extensions were not the same size; one was just right, while the other was too big. The handle was the right size, but the insert had been over-cut. To keep it from moving around, I used a lot of glue. If a problem arises, I will update the review. It went like this for me:
- Cut the handle to the correct length and sand it down to a custom fit.
- To make the handle waterproof, coat it in polyurethane. As seen in the illustration.
- To improve adhesion, remove the stick plug and wipe the powder inside the shaft with a damp towel.
- Using a glue gun, apply glue to the inside of the stick shaft and the extension.
- The glue in the stick shaft and extension should be melted with a heat gun.
- Insert the extension, wipe away the glue, and secure it with tape. Alternatively, you can simply melt the glue and stick it in with a heat gun or even a hair dryer. If it wiggles or comes loose, heat it to remove it, then re-glue it and re-insert it. I miss the time in high school woodshop when I was making an extension for my hockey stick out of a scrap of birch wood.
This is an excellent product that can be easily inserted with a little force. I used it for my 12-year-old daughter. Parents, you spend a lot of money on composite sticks; there's no need to buy a new stick or a composite plug when this one works fine. br>br>This item can be painstakingly ground and sanded to match your stick perfectly. I didn't sand it at all, and it turned out perfectly. Any minor differences in shape of this item can be concealed beneath one of those 1-inch thick sheets of paper. It can be concealed beneath a good butt end taped handle or piece prefab butt end grips. For the past few months, it's been tight and secure. I'd be concerned if your kid could hit 105 mph slap shots, but for simple rec or even club at 13U or equivalent, it'll suffice; you'll get another year out of that stick, and you'll save money.
I bought an Easton Synergy youth stick and apparently didn't do enough research on the stick length. My 7-year-old found it to be a few inches too short. I looked for a youth stick extension but couldn't find one, so I decided to take a chance on this one. The glue was all over the extension. To soften it, I used a hair dryer and lightly tapped it with a rubber mallet. It took some time for it to fully settle in, but once it did, it was perfect. The extension doesn't quite match the stick shaft's width. It was only a few millimeters off. Overall, I am pleased with the product; it will serve its purpose.
2 things. 2 things. This could use a little more glue. I had to add a few of my own. You only need a few more dabs. It would have come loose if it hadn't been for it. Maybe I just got one that wasn't very gluey, and this isn't the norm. This is an extremely lengthy document. I'm talking about a significant amount of time. When I put it on, I felt like I was wielding Chara's stick. As a result, I realized my stick was too short for my playing style. I had to cut it down anyway, but that's to be expected from a stick extender. Even with limited tools, it was simple to cut downs.
Because children grow quickly and new equipment is costly, this is a great way to extend the life of their sticks while maintaining proper fit. Simply melt the glue with a heat gun before inserting into the handle's end. You're ready to tape and go once you've cut it off at the proper length. I bought this product last season so that my child could use his old stick as a backup in his first year of Squirt U10 hockey. I bought two more this year so that I could use both of the sticks again.
This was a great way to extend the length of my son's hockey stick. I couldn't persuade him to use a larger one because he was so attached to his Jr Bauer S60. He noticed how much better it was after he added the length. It will be easier to convince him to switch to a junior or intermediate stick. It took some time to get everything set up. You'll need a hair dryer and a lot of patience!.
My son's hockey stick was too short, according to the coach, so I bought him a new one, which he hated. He was enamored with the old stick's flex and curve. He is overjoyed that he was able to keep his old stick after purchasing this. I could have avoided purchasing a new stick for him if I had tried this first.
It's simple to extend a junior stick by heating the glue. With the wooden extension, I expected to feel a strange type of flex, but it's impossible to tell. If you have some junior sticks and want to extend their life for ice hockey, this is a great option. If you're an adult looking for a lighter stick, this is also a great option. I was able to save some money and it is also reusable!.
