Questions & Answers

Can you tell me how much the case weighs?

The luggage scale I have I believe is fairly accurate and indicates that the case weighs 15 pounds. There is no weight limit.

Although it comes with a hard bag, is it actually that hard? Can it stand up to being thrown around, and should it survive being piled up by a suitcase?

I find the case to be quite light, which is concerning, but it is really sturdy. Inside, there's a thin foam padding and a strap so that the clubs remain secure from being picked up during a flight, but after two legs, it didn't show signs of damage. This is worth the time.

Would someone be able to tell me the actual dimensions of the inside? I greatly appreciate your help. ?

A circumference ranging from 52" to 56" The inside of the tin is 53".

An airline's fragile cargo is too expensive to transport
3/5

While I was initially attracted to this case thanks to the promise of hard-case protection while also having spinner wheels for easy transport, my disappointment was that the case was extremely fragile and not constructed to last long. (2) of these were gone through before I bought another product. Each case was taken on a separate trip (read one trip) via airline, four legs per trip, and neither one of the cases arrived home without It is also possible that the spinner wheel and its case were broken in the first case, and that the casing was shoved up inside of the case, This case was returned to the airport as a result of extremely poor baggage handling by baggage service. The second case had a problem with rivets that attached the top handle to the case, causing the top handle (and most important handle) to pull out completely. Every failure is illustrated with a picture. There was no point in overburdening the case with too much weight, since I had a 32 pound golf bag within the case. I'm going to tell you the truth Baggage services guys send these bags all over the place, and I completely understand what they're doing. Golf bags in particular are probably treated with a level of contempt that goes beyond other pieces of luggage, due to their weight and "awkwardness" as compared to regular The only reason why most people, including myself, invest in a hard case is because they are protected in a way that a soft case cannot As a means of compensating for Normally, I would expect a product that is marketed as more durable than a soft case to be exactly that - durable and strong Cases with hard sides are stronger than cases with soft sides. There is no such thing as a fair trial in this case. In the meantime, since I have passed my return window on the second case, I will attempt to fight with Samsonite to make sure it gets resolved.

This bag is great for carrying your clubs safely, but it's quite a bit of a challenge to transport
4/5

Be careful not to overfill it because dealing with it at the airport can be challenging. When slung across an airport trolley, they make it awkward to pass through the doors. On the way to our destination we pushed them sideways along with our suitcases. As there was so much room in the back of the truck, we put all the dirty laundry in one after our return journey. I did not like this idea as it made the case very unstable, and more difficult to handle. Our luggage and the men's large suitcases were too big for the Uber driver to fit into his I managed to find a solution in the end. Considering all that, we are happy with them, but the smaller cases, which have a softer feel, will definitely be easier to handle.

I would buy this product Samsonite's travel case arrived a day early, and the fit and finish are excellent (so I would expect nothing less from a reputable company like theirs)
5/5

My initial concern was that this case would not be able to hold my full bag of clubs, so I wouldn't have to take out the driver, etc. I was pleasantly surprised at its In my full bag, I have room for 24 balls, tees, irons, first woods, driver, etc. I also fit my cleats. However, I believe that you would still have room for two more full boxes of balls (24) as well as clothing and other items. The main challenge will be staying under the physical weight limits for airport check-in. I understand that the hard sides are lightweight, yet appear very durable when you put your weight against them, however the absence of latches is not a concern since I believe the zipper will offer enough flexibility so that the case will not crack when tossed into a luggage compartment. This zipper is extremely heavy duty. I do not think there will be any problems with it. It is true that the wheels do stick out from the base, and they cannot be removed, so this could be a weak point in the future, although initially they seem very robust. Based on my initial evaluation I would say this case is worth the money for the ability to protect your considerable investment in golf equipment, as well as travel worry-free. I will update this review next week after my first full trip with the case. I have not yet traveled with it so I cannot review it yet.

A pretty nice case, but it has not been tested
4/5

This is a case I've been eyeing for quite some time and it looks really good. It is more roomy than my current cheap case as well. Despite my fully loaded stand bag fitting in the case, there was still some spare room. It would be okay for me to keep my shoes in the case as well as a few balls. I was surprised to find that the zippers are robust and the plastic is actually a lot harder than I expected. The plastic doesn't give much so it's pretty hard. When fully loaded up, the case becomes unstable and it's hard to just push it around the room As a result, it will fall over essentially, so just be aware. This case, in my opinion, is not durable as there are numerous complaints about it. I cannot comment on this issue It's going to be a while before this holds up to airline travel, but I'm really hoping it does. I am only able to keep my current travel case together due to the straps which bind it together. With this case, I hope I do not have to go through that. Since the price of the item was too good to pass up, I purchased it from the Amazon Warehouse. The second one arrived in the mail I am very impressed with how good the condition is. Within a larger box was the original box in which the case was shipped. The box was in fine condition, so that wasn't an issue. It had some faint scratch marks and stick glue on the inside. Those were the only issues I found with the case. In terms of condition, I am very impressed with the overall quality of the "used" case. It is also a good value considering.

This is one of the “MUST HAVE” luggage pieces
4/5

There's something I really like about this You must be careful The size of it is huge I had an impala that fit (it was wider than the back seat of a few rental cars)
I like to wrap clothes around my clubs - it allows me to hide my tan under the clothes as well as my skin. This prevents them from moving around and takes up a lot of their time If you want to go away for the weekend, consider these options It is only necessary for me to bring a small backpack for travel. The scooter has four wheels that travel in all directions and maneuvers very well In addition, it can be used as a hand vehicle.

Despite some small but quite problematic design flaws, this is a solid case
3/5

On my second trip with it, one of the screws holding the top handle came out. I absolutely love this case, but it requires some maintenance. In my attempt to get a replacement under warranty, I spoke with Samsonite, but it became complicated and was going to cost a lot for me to return it. By purchasing a screw, washer, and locking nut, I was able to fix the problem myself. I ordered additional parts to fix if the other fasteners fail, but maybe I got a bad case. This design is not as pretty as their design, but much more reliable and effective. I believe I will need these additional parts in the future if the other fasteners fail.
