I have no recollection of what happened. It had been mentioned somewhere in the product description. After a year, it was no longer able to hold air.

Selected User Reviews For Wilson TDY Composite Football - Youth
For our brand new middle school football program, we required this specific size football. The official stores were completely sold out as well. Thankfully, Amazon had the items in stock and shipped them quickly (though not quickly enough). The prices were also very competitive, if not even lower than what I had seen in other stores - We were able to buy a small number of these balls, which allowed us to have real football practices before the season began.
It's worth it to see a smile on their face for such a low price!.
This is the first football that my son has been able to grasp. It's ideal for kids because of its size and texture. We've used it in hot weather and now in bitter cold, and it still works perfectly.
It's a good, long-lasting football, but the image is extremely deceiving. I thought I'd get four because the image shows four, but I only got one. I went to the page, scrolled down, and read the item quantity, and discovered that there is only one ball. Overall, good football, but the cover image MUST be changed, as I am not the only one who has been duped.
For this price, the 1714s are an excellent value. I've had 1001s with only plastic laces, so the composite on the laces is a nice touch. br>br>Until now, every Wilson I've purchased has held air. I've only ever had one really old Wilson that couldn't hold air any longer. Over the last three years, I've had over 30 footballs at my house (my church hosts a flag football tournament every year), and these balls have held up well during practice and tournament days. I have no complaints about them, especially for the price. br>br>I haven't had the opportunity to use a genuine leather one ($90), so I can't comment on its upkeep or use. I've had a lot of fun with these composites in three sizes, and they've held up well. During the off-season, I don't keep them in the garage or in a cold place. season.
This was purchased for use in a league. I got it back in a matter of hours, despite the fact that the picture and the description were not the same. It's all a ruse. After reading the other comments, it appears that others were duped as well.
Excellent quality.
This is a fantastic football game. Purchased for our son, who is 8 years old and participates in a 3rd-4th grade flag football league. The ball has excellent grip, has lasted the entire season, and is in excellent condition. This book comes highly recommended.
