Questions & Answers

Is the leather genuine? My Doberman enjoys playing football, but it must be made of genuine leather and have an internal bladder or she will pop it. ?

There are leather and composite versions of the GST ball. Look at the picture if the descriptions aren't clear. Sewn-on stripes are found on the majority of leather versions. Paint is applied to composites. There's also a significant price difference, with leather versions costing around $40 for youth and $75-$100 for adults. a size of 80 for high school/college

On the ball, what are the figures? What exactly do these words imply? Thank you for your help with 1322, 1321, and other numbers. ?

Wilson's GST line is represented by these model numbers. In this case, the size difference is the size: 1321 should be a junior ball, which means it will be slightly larger than 1322, which is a PeeWee ball, if my memory serves me correctly.

Which of the following is correct: the tdj in the image or the k2 in the text? I'm looking for a tdj to help me out. ?

As shown in the image, this is the TDJ GST fill leather.

Is this a 12- to 14-year-old football team?

"9-" is written on the football field. "It's appropriate for a child of 12 years old." I believe it is dependent on the physical size of the child and his or her level of interest in the game. It's a good-looking football that's ideal for pre-season play. Play for high school students.

Good, but if you think leather is easy to grip, you might be disappointed
5/5

I wanted to get my 9-year-old a really good football. He's tough, enjoys a good game, and is passionate about it. I purchased the junior size, which fits perfectly. br>br>The ball is hard, and the leather, I assume, has been treated at the factory. However, it is difficult to grasp. The ball has a slick feel to it. Consider the ball to be more like a hard leather baseball glove than a soft leather baseball glove. It has a rough texture that makes it difficult to grip. Having said that, this is an excellent ball. To care for the ball, pick up some Wilson leather conditioner. I also purchased tack spray, which has made a significant difference. I started by conditioning the ball, then letting it dry before applying tack spray. Another $15 is charged for each bottle. Yes, it's pricey; however, if you're only concerned about the cost, a rubber ball will suffice. br>br>Synthetic balls are less difficult to maintain. Leather is more durable in the long run, but it does necessitate some maintenance. Consider it in the same way that you would your car seats. Seats made of genuine leather are more difficult to maintain than those made of vinyl. You are the one who must decide what is best for you. Please press the button if you found this review useful.

It's as hard as a brick and won't hold any air
3/5

I don't usually write reviews, but this football was purchased for our 11u football team this past season. I should have paid attention to the negative feedback because it was spot on - This ball is HORRIBLY HORRIBLY HORRIBLY HORRIBILY We couldn't keep air in it, and when we did, the ball was like a bricabd, and that's putting it mildly. As a result, you wouldn't be able to throw a spiral because of the poor design. I wouldn't complain if it was just me, but we had former high school players and quarterbacks try it to make sure, and they couldn't get a spiral out of it and disliked the ball's extremely hard gel. Please accept my apologies for the late review, but I felt compelled to warn potential buyers.

, you must read. a football game with leather! I've bought a lot of footballs, but I'd never spent the money on a real leather football before, and I was really looking forward to it. This ball has a bad shape, hard points, and a poor grip. br>br> This ball has the potential to be fantastic in the following ways:
1. Make the whole ball look like the stripesbr>2. Remove the ridiculously difficult points that no child wants to play with. br>3. Make a ball in the shape of a Wilson 15. I bought this ball for 99 cents at Walmart. br>br>I like the quality of the laces and stitching, but not enough to make up for the flaws. This ball is completely useless at the moment, and it's a waste of $45 when they could have done so much better. We only use Wilson balls, and I'm very disappointed with this one.

Football is a fantastic sport
5/5

I wish I'd had one when I was younger. This was purchased as a "Giving Tree" present for an 8-year-old. As a result, I have no idea how he felt about it because such gifts are always given in complete anonymity. I thought this thing was pretty cool. It's lightweight, has raised laces, and it's a Wilson. Wilson footballs are one thing, but everything else is another.

The first one was damaged, but the replacement is fantastic! I've attached my original note, but as I mentioned in the title, the first ball I got was deformed
5/5

It was simple to exchange it with Amazon's customer service, and the replacement arrived quickly and in excellent condition. The ball is nice and grippy, and it's shaped correctly this time; the only thing I'd say about the GST series leather balls is that they're a little hard, but I've always enjoyed them. br>br>Ordered for my co-ed flag football team. ed league, which necessitates the use of junior balls). On the first try, the ball arrived deformed enough that I expected it to have some impact when thrown. It appears that the leather was not stitched together as neatly as it should have been and overlapped in places, resulting in a knot on the seam, and the ends of the ball were also a little wonky and had a slight underbite (which wouldn't be a big deal on its own). Fortunately, Amazon's customer service is excellent, so I am exchanging right away, as this is a fairly expensive ball. I will update with the next ball I receive. br>br>As an aside, the leather is soft and the ball is made of high-quality materials. I'm looking forward to the replacement, which should be more normal in shape.

Because these are handcrafted balls, each one has its own characteristics, so you'll need to purchase several to find the "perfect ball
3/5

" Unfortunately, neither was perfect, but they were adequate as practice balls. If you want to buy game balls, I would recommend buying direct from Wilson and expect approximately fifty percent (50%) to be excellent Wilson game balls.

The ball is of excellent quality and has a great feel to it
5/5

This is an incredible ball. It will take some time for your QB and receivers to adjust if you're used to playing with a synthetic ball, but the learning curve is well worth it. It has a good weight distribution, cuts through the air well, and performs admirably. I highly recommend conditioning it with the "Wilson Game Ball Prep Kit. " The ball is similar to a baseball mitt in appearance. It improves over time as you use it and condition it. To be safe, be aware: You'll never want to throw a synthetic ball again once you've thrown this.

Football is fantastic
5/5

We tested four different footballs, and this one came in second place by a razor-thin margin. It has a good grip and is a good thrower. My quarterbacks simply preferred a different brand of spiral that threw a slightly better spiral for them, but they alternated between the two.
