Wilson basketballs were my go-to as a kid, and they were great. It's the same with this one. The listing makes no mention of the ball's actual size, assuming that you already know that it's a size 6 ball because it's a WNBA ball. I assumed that this ball would be just as good as any other to give to my elementary school aged children, but I learned that due to the weight/size of the ball, there are recommended sizes for different ages. This is an intermediate-level course. size ball arrived brand new and ready to use- for- play. We removed the cardboard halo that keeps it in place and started playing horse with the teenagers and our grade-school students. a niece from school Our children are familiar with the WNBA because we watch them play when the Maryland Women's Terps are not in action. as well as in the middle UConn is a powerhouse in both men's and women's basketball. The ball has arrived! Smaller hands and younger players will benefit from this size. It has a rubber/grippy surface that is good for beginners who are learning to pass and handle the ball. It has a good bounce and can be used in the driveway (we don't have any indoor space) - a fantastic asset The only criticism (from a niece) is that it is too long. It doesn't always go into the basket when I want it to. It's a good intermediate (not full size) ball, which is probably every player's grouse.
Wilson puts on a show, and it's as good as you'd expect. The colors are vibrant, and it arrives fully inflated, so there's no need to worry about inflating it at first. It has a bump texture that is typical of basketballs and is fairly easy to grip. Overall, this is a great purchase that I would highly recommend; my daughter has found it much easier to play with this size 6 ball than the full size.
This is a basketball for the big leagues. br>br>This basketball is a size 6 (28). 5”. For 9-year-old boys, this is the perfect size. From the age of 11 for males and 9 for females, all the way up to the professional level. The WNBA logo is printed on one side of the ball. The Las Vegas Aces logo is printed on the back of the one we received. On the ball, the Aces' red and gold color scheme dominates.
It's a good basketball for my grandchildren to play with. They're in middle and high school, and the ball appears to be just the right size. It has incredible colors. br>br> We chose sky blue as our color of choice, and it's a fantastic shade. br>br>The ball was inflated when it arrived, but it needed a little more. With their outdoor practice, it appears to be a hit with the kids.
I needed a ball for my daughter to play with outside because I don't let her play with her expensive ball outside, and I've had cheaper basketballs in the past, so my expectations are low. She's only used it once outside for about 20 minutes, and I can already tell it's starting to fall apart. That was something I hadn't anticipated.

When my husband received it, he noticed that it was slightly smaller than the men's version. But, oh well, the ball itself is quite nice and of excellent quality.
