There are 3/4" hog rings inside the 1/2 inch box, but they are labelled 1/2"

These hog rings would have been fine if they were 1/2", but they are 3/4". There are 2 suppliers who are selling me 2 boxes of 2500 3/4" hog rings, and 2 suppliers who are selling me 500 1/2" hog rings. According to this box, the product inside is 3/4". However, the other two suppliers can only supply For a comparison, I've attached a photo of a 1/2" ring sample from one supplier and a tape measure from another. My assumption is they would have been the same except be joined together for use on an automatic feeder. Here is a second picture showing 3/4 rings from a different supplier that Weston compared to the bag of 1/2" rings from Weston. I received a refund from Amazon for the error, so I added a second Initially, the error would not have been as bad if we did not plan on using the boards this week for concrete sipp panels. These were ordered to use with the Dewalt P7DW hog ring pliers, but unfortunately the firm cardboard box these come in was too soft to pack them tightly, so instead of getting full 'sticks of rings' I got a box of rings that were mostly useless. Trying to place a single staple into a staple gun will result in a jam and not enough time to complete the closing For these to be used I will have to buy a pair of ring pliers designed for single ring applications, or I will most likely just toss them away and never buy this brand again. As a customer, I will return if Weston offers a heavier box, or if they raise their prices a few cents to cover the cost of better packaging, but as of now, I feel like I wasted my hard-earned cash!.

I expected it to be thicker but it was not quite there

They were purchased so I could use them with some new leather seat covers I had. Although I did know that I would need to break them apart, they were actually quite thin compared to what I anticipated. It was concluded that I would not use them for the install due to the fact that I wanted something much thicker and stronger. All in all, these items may work for some applications, but they are not suitable for upholstery material.

When buying these rings, make sure you check their size. They are often sold with the dewalt pliers, however the sizes do not always match. Don't forget to take a look at the size. They're all not.
