Adaptable to any Trailer Hitch with a 2" opening, the cover will fit nearly any trailer.
It fits very tightly (tightly) in the receiver and comes with a rubber tether to keep it from falling out if it does become loose. However, there is no way to lock it in place.
That a C300 even has a tow hitch seems odd to me, but it must be very light duty since the hitch is so small. If that receiver is too small for a standard size hitch, you may want to compare it to another. I can't "think" a C300 is designed for towing, so I'd guess it is a small It is always possible to return it if it does not fit.

I thought at first, "Wow, this thing is gonna fall off the first 1/10 of a mile out of the drive way. ". In that moment, it occurred to me that the Lanyard is to be stretched open to go to the "flange" of the receiver tube (forward of the hitch pin) and an inch or two above it. Put the cover over the opening of the tube that is 2" wide. It has been more than twenty years since I had a hitch, and that was a simple ball mount welded onto the tow vehicle. As a result. Let's show our hands if you are part of the "short bus" group. (I would have read the directions before approaching the car if it had directions.

The cover looks great, it fits extremely snugly on my 2014 ML with the tow package (I had to hammer it in a little bit with my palm and it looks just great). Look no further, this is the best cover for the Toyota tow hitch on your Merc. The quality of the cars equals that of the brand.
Here's Amazon asking me to write a second review on exactly the same product. I like the tow hitch cover, it looks good. There is a hole in the stem insert that could be aligned to slide a locking pin into. I wish the stem insert were longer. If anyone wants to steal it, they can just pull it Whenever I walk away from it in a parking lot, I am worried.
I love the fact that it fits my new GLS 450 2021 perfectly! It came with a rubber lanyard to keep the hitch from falling off. I have no idea why it is needed because the hitch fits so securely.
It is beautifully designed. I am in love with it. This is a very well-designed and constructed product. I am getting a lower price than I was quoted by my dealership. Any owner of an ML or GL that is experiencing a hitch should try this out. When you are driving around without anything being towed, it completes the look.
I like the cover very much. It is expected of Mercedes products that the rubber is of good quality and that the image is of high quality.
