I'm not sure what I'm saying. My Ford truck was manufactured in 2008. If the material is too thick, you may need to buy longer screws.
The New Orleans Saints laser plate has a black logo.
This laser plate comes with two distinct backgrounds. It's clear that the one shown here is black. A Silver Mirror background is also available, but it is not the one used here. Thank you very much!

The word metal appears in the description. It isn't made of metal. It's made of vinyl. Despite its attractive appearance, I assumed it was made of metal rather than mirror plastic. Plastic isn't the same as metal, and that's pretty basic. This photo isn't as appealing to me as the one in the description. I returned, but be wary of Rico's product descriptions, which are misleading.
What's left of my Dallas Cowboys plate is shown in the photo. Last night, I was driving when something flew up from the car in front of me and slammed into it. This was all that remained when I came to a halt later. I purchased this item primarily due to the word "metal" in the title description: Rico Industries NFL Unisex Unisex Unisex Unisex Unisex Unisex Adult Laser Inlaid Metal License Plate Tagbr>It's made entirely of acrylic, which looks nice but isn't very durable.
The product is well-made and durable. When you see it in person, it becomes much more impressive. My only concern is that it's thickness is an issue for newer model vehicles that come with a stock front license frame bracket, because the slots that a standard size plate fits into are too narrow to fit this plate into, but with a little finesse, you might be able to push it down into groves just enough to avoid using screws to tighten it. I, on the other hand, am completely enamored with it.
Because of the Dark Blue color, I used Allen Head Screws and spray painted them gloss black. br>br>I have received many compliments on the plate. We Bears fans love our team, and this was a great choice. br>br>Because of the Dark Blue color, I used Allen Head Screws and spray painted them gloss black. The screws are barely visible, allowing the Bears Head Logo to take center stage. I am very pleased with my purchase.
The emblem is embossed, giving it a three-dimensional appearance, and the colors are so vibrant that they really stand out. I finished the look with a gold frame and a clear cover to protect it from the elements.
I really like the plate. I've washed my car a few times since installation and there have been no defects. The first one was damaged in transit, so I notified customer service and received a replacement the same day. I'd buy it again if the situation arose.
We were disappointed beyond words when we opened the package and discovered that the plate was cracked not only at the bottom left point of the star, but also at the top center. As can be seen in the image. We would happily give the item a 5 star rating if the seller made this right and sent another plate, as the plate, aside from being damaged, was a very nice plate and exactly what we were looking for.
It's too big to fit into the metal Chicago Bears frame, so I bought both of them to put on the front of my car. The Bears' plate is only a fraction of an inch thick on its own. So I'm going to put it on the front by itself, and then put the frame around the state license plate in the back.
