There are no easy ways to use this product

I have never seen such a complicated software in my life, the manual is confusing, the installation process did not follow the manual instructions, I did not receive a good response when I contacted customer support, and the CD came scratched.

USE THE TRIAL VERSION TO TEST IT
3/5

The package had no COA. The web registration number did not work. It was then realized that it was the trial version. AZ SHOULD DO SOMETHING about this. It is a waste of time.

A little background However, I have built and maintained personal, commercial, and informational sites but am not a professional user in the sense of making a living from Web site construction. It is generally thought that Frontpage or Dreamweaver is used for the majority of projects, but there is always room for improvement. In fact, as other reviewers have pointed out, Expression is not an upgrade to Frontpage, but a totally different application entirely. As an attempt to compete against Flash and Dreamweaver, Microsoft has created Expression Web. In case you were looking for an entry level Web site creation tool, don't bother reading the next line. You can find tons of advice on how to create a website on Amazon or Google. I recommend getting some good advice, and some bad. The hope I share with other reviewers here is that some software company will pick up the torch and contribute something decent for the guys who don't spend their days doing this sort of thing. I don't think expression is the answer! Most of the differences between Dreamweaver and Expression have already been discussed before. It's recommended that you wait until version 2 is available before you consider buying. There is no doubt that this is In my experience, I can't complete a session without crashing at least once. (For those of you wondering, I do always have a copy of the latest available patches from MS for both applications and operating systems. In spite of that caveat, there are still some important differences and I would strongly recommend that you read the other detailed reviews to find out if you care about those differences. I think that the most important feature of this program is CSS support, what I don't find in Dreamweaver, and also the UI is more intuitive than that of Dreamweaver which is another plus. Maybe one day Adobe will realize the importance of UI. A drag and drop feature is also part of the authoring process. The downside is that access to common page properties is not as convenient as in Dreamweaver. The bottom line is, if you are new to Web site authoring or are looking for an upgrade, wait for a later version and look elsewhere.

There must be an impossible solution to this problem
3/5

Building web pages with Frontpage has been one of my occupations since its Since 2003, I have updated to all the latest versions. Though I thought it was a good idea to upgrade to Expression, I have had nothing but frustration. It is not my first time using Photoshop. I create my own graphics for all of my websites using the program - and I am not a beginner. Both on a personal and professional level Using a template for Frontpage is never useful to me. All of my code was written from the ground up, and I found Expression to be a painful experience. There is no proper working order in the world. You are left out in the cold unless you are willing to pay for video tutoring on line. The help files are useless. I have bought two books, but neither has been of much use. The application failed if I tried to build anything more complex than a basic HTML page. There was a problem attaching the CSS. Once the files were uploaded to the server, they would not read each other. As I was looking through Google, I came across It is possible for me to edit the CSS files by the old fashioned way There are a few ways to do that.
