Questions & Answers

Do you think you will be able to burn the bdmv files and the certificates you have to a Blu-ray? Do you have a Blu-ray player that I can use to play the disc in my home theater?

My reason for saying this is because I have not done that action myself, but there are no reasons why you should not.

Is this going to work with El Capitan 10? 2 of 6 Is it possible to buy an Intel 5GHz ?

The software is 64-bit only if El Capitan is. A 32-bit operating system is likely to be used. "No" if that is the case.

Computer software that has been repurposed
3/5

I was not able to register it because it was a previous return. This is a shady business practice!.

I wouldn't pay $149 for it
3/5

I once paid over $40 for the most watered down piece of software I've ever seen I would not recommend spending $149 on this.

This is about the time it takes to burn a music CD
4/5

Although the CD burner burns CDs OK, DVD players have problems playing DVDs.

The chapter markers fail to meet expectations
3/5

The Toast Pro 19 I purchased from Corel was delivered to me After spending almost an entire month trying to get help adding chapter markers to a video I made with Final Cut Pro X, I finally found a solution. In Toast 18, I ran into this issue, and I was told I would have to wait for the new version for the feature to function. This is unfortunately not the case. And to make matters worse, customer service is The exchanges I had left me with countless amounts of feedback on my inability to try out a suggestion, detailed feedback on the negative outcome. The replies I received were not related to my submissions It would be great if you could give me more ideas- All of which did not work. Last but not least, I had to contact Apple's technical support to figure out how to burn a blue ray video disc with chapter markers. Despite the fact that the outcome is not particularly elegant, it works. If the Toast project is not in working order as advertised, I believe it should not be sold. There has never been an experience like this with anyone I've ever dealt with There may be some functionality that would meet some people's needs. Contact technical support if you need help. The problem is that you may be disappointed if you expect all the functionality claims to be met. It is certainly the case that chapter markers should be added. iDVD was a great application from Apple, so it is a real shame to see it go away. I think it was better than what Toast claims and actually does not do.

It's a good option for Blu-ray players Video discs are available on Blu-ray
4/5

Thanks for the promotional offer of $69. I just purchased Toast 19 Pro today. It's nice to have the current version around in case I need, or want, to burn a The toast product has been around since version 6 and I have owned the following versions of toast There is now a woman in her mid-20s, 19, 20, 25, 27 and close to 30. With the toast app, I rarely have any problems, but I don't use the extras as I prefer more advanced apps for converting, or at least more than just the basic features. My primary use of toast is to burn and author discs, and as mentioned, I convert and edit in other programs. I have created a DVD or Blu-ray every time I have I normally play the disc without a problem with Toast. The process is fairly straightforward, although I am sure the conversion time during disc creation could be slowed somewhat. I'm not expecting immediate results due to the nature of working with video. have taken away one star mainly because of the included extras. There is no way to opt out of installing those things I won't use, and there is no way to setup other things I won't use. When dealing with media, I tend to keep in mind the perspective of professional producers versus the average consumer. While I do not currently work on any professional projects, I still generally look at them from a professional's perspective. I also have a nice free tool called Burn, which I think is a good program, but it does not support disc burning Video on Blu-ray. It had been a few months since I sent an email to their support asking if they could add support, and since they hadn't replied, I figured As a result, toast is the best solution for me.
Here are my main points for people to consider 1 .

Besides using a real editor, if you want to do quality burns you should learn to use FFMpeg, or a good GUI front end to it, or you can as well use an inexpensive converter, like Xvid. 3.
It would be beneficial if you had professional experience or at least good production experience If so, you have already defined your workflow and know what and how you want to use for the best results. Since I'm a little tired when writing this review, I apologize that my thoughts are all over the map. It is hard for me to do reviews at times because I feel like I need to teach people and instruct them to ensure they are getting the best information possible, and I never know who I'm talking to since it's a mix of many different people with different levels of experience. In any case, I hope I have given some enough information to at least consider the idea.

There are bugs in the software
3/5

There are either bugs in this software or Apple's operating system does not make optical discs work as well as they should, but I have spent too much time watching spinning beachballs and nothing seems to happen. There have been several failed attempts to burn discs including archival M discs, which are quite expensive. Customer support from Corel is exceedingly unhelpful. It is real. Alternatives do not perform any better than those I have tried. While Toast does not work thoroughly and doesn't offer customisation options, it does do a satisfactory job when it does. Putting the disc in the oven at half the speed recommended for the disc will yield the best results, and this advice should be included in the Roasting.

There are several free alternatives available online
3/5

Having used Toast since it was launched (more than 25 years), I find it indispensable. Burning CDs and later DVDs was made easy on the Mac with this software. It is however impossible to use the latest two versions (18 and 19) There are a lot of small bugs, and you have to pay a lot Installation of these updates is extremely difficult, rather complicated procedures have to be carried out. The other day, I purchased a new MacBook Air and successfully transferred all software packages - no problems at all Generally, I did not have any problems, with Toast being the exception. Tech support wanted to see my drive remotely. It was too late for me As a result of Apple's software, a data disk can be easily created, while no one is copying or generating DVDs any more. You shouldn't buy unless you want to spend your money and time on something useless.
