Questions & Answers

If I use Roxio Toast 11 for Mac, will I be able to download videos from YouTube, complete with sound? Hopefully, I can get some help from you. Is Ken there?

The best way to download videos from YouTube is to use Firefox and install the plug-in. YouTube does not appear to be a download location for Roxio titanium 11 for Mac

I have an Intel Mac running 10 and would like to use this. ?

am unaware of Intel's rating for its use as it depends on the version of the mac operating system you use. Version 10 of my software is used. I have tried it with 5 and it works perfectly.

Do I have the option of mixing CDs?

Although Toast claims that you can update it, my experience with it is that it is ugly, buggy, and can be cumbersome to use, and that it does not allow you to do so. As well as being expensive, it is also difficult to find. As it turns out, you can use iTunes for burning CDs directly from your Mac without having to get any other program. Choose your playlist, choose File, then select Burn Playlist to Disc. In iTunes, create a playlist with the songs you wish to include on your CD.

On MAC 10, it works fine. Which operating system is number 6?

Yes, I have used it for a long time and I have been able to use it on all operating systems.

The answer is yes, but
3/5

In order to use Toast 11, I bought this item, which is a newer version than I had and is more compatible with my There was no issue with that, and the serial number included on the disk sleeve unlocked the program. There are several other programs on the disk that are claimed to be included in the package. Nevertheless, the software that I could've used (SoundSoap) will only work as a demo for 14 days, and you will need to purchase a license for $149 to use it for more than 14 days. I get $00! Definitely not what it appears to be. I'm not sure how much software is included in the listing (the category of "$300.

How is it possible for simple things to be primary purpose for which I purchased this software was to create and burn Blu-ray discs The videos on the DVDs are in high definition (1080p)
3/5

Basically, all I need is a user-supplied image for the splash screen with two menu buttons, one of which plays the video, the other which goes to a scenes menu with descriptive buttons (I'm open to accepting text or images to describe the scenes). In this regard, Toast cannot accomplish this simple requirement. Even though FCPX's default menu structure is appalling, it still offers a superior solution to Toast. There is a long wait time for image conversion. On a final note, the image quality on the blue-ray disc is excellent Even with the "best quality" option selected, the Blu-ray disk is pretty awful. It does not meet the primary requirements for what this package can do, so I do not give a damn what else it can do. There must be something out there that can have an effect on Blu-ray discs An iDVD can do for a DVD what a Blu-Ray disc can do for an The package that I am interested in does not match this one. You may want to look Please take note of the extra information This movie had an awful sound track. When there was a quiet period, it ran the gain through the roof, creating intolerable white noise. It's best to steer clear of this one.

Although it's not as good as iDVD, it does the job (review for Mac owners)
4/5

Even though it isn't as good as iDVD, you can burn DVDs with it. Besides converting files, it is useful for a lot of other stuff as well. There are still some things the program could improve, but it works well enough for the purpose in hand. A DVD menu can be frustrating to create due to a lack of options. The difference between iDVD and DVD is especially high. You also have to be very patient if you want to skip chapters on Neither the player nor the game is at fault. These are how DVD menus and submenus are made by the program. There are improvements that could be made to the program. The user may find it hard to navigate the features at times, which makes them wonder if a simple task can be accomplished.
One thing that annoyed me when copying a specific chapter from a DVD I created was finding the source. Since the ripper would not let me choose the specific chapter, I had to rip the entire disk just for the 5 minute segment I wanted. By finding the original analog tape and uploading it in that fashion, it would have taken less time. A number of people have complained about crashing issues. I haven't experienced any problems with this. These issues are likely associated with the older, slower computer or hardware they are using. If you have a new or fast computer, Toast 11 should resolve the issues. This program works well and overall has a good rating.

We don't really have anything new to say My experience as a Toast 10 Pro user is that there are no real improvements The main reason I ordered it was because of the newer Fotomagico and Elements9

Due to this media browser that is hooked to Toast, Toast is now slower than before. The first time you go into video mode, iTunes scans your library and this can take a long time. The only 3D files supported by this version are MPO and 3D AVI files, but there is no support for 3D files like Creator 2011. We hope to see an update on this soon! In my case with a Fuji w3 camera and creator 2011 for PC, I was hoping to get some mac unity preview but received only In the past, I have enjoyed and used Toast on my Mac, but lately it seems to be getting overly bloated, so it may need to be removed or at least user configurable. Also, I find the Roxio Video Player to be disappointing. The older one, built by Elgato, was able to handle MTS (AVCHD) files without stuttering. This new one seems to have difficulty with these files. In my opinion, this version is more of a money grabbing attempt than an update that took two years in the making. I hope that after a few updates, this thing will become more useful. Make sure Toast 10 is also installed if you update your program. I would appreciate it if Rooxio turned off the media browser and added MP3 support!.

Loved it from the get-go, used it regularly, and recommend it! In spite of all the reviews I read about this product, I decided to purchase I installed it with no problems on my 2011 iMac running OS X

There is a new version of This video capture tool worked flawlessly for me as well when I tried downloading a video from the internet. In the software, I then processed the video for my iPad once it had been streamed. As well as creating the file, it also created a new playlist in iTunes called Toast, where it placed the newly converted file. This whole process took less than ten As well as ripping a CD, I also had no issues. It was a great decision to buy the Titanium package considering I have always trusted Roxio. In addition, Adobe Photoshop adds a great deal of value. We began using it as soon as it arrived! It is my sincerest hope that this makes the undecided feel more at ease. The program continues to be in use and I am still in love with it, update 01/06/14. It has created more than a hundred personal DVDs for me and has never failed to do so.

Very nice movies in high definition
5/5

The software works well for me, and I like how easy it is to use. would be better if there were more instructions in a manual. The process of trial and error has taught me a lot. On YOU TUBE, I found some how to videos as well that were The best thing you can get for DVD movies in 1080i since Apple has left us hanging for DVD players.
