Nova Development US Hallmark Premium Blank 4x8 Photo Cards

I'm sorry to report that HP doesn't seem to make any 4x8 photo paper any more, which is a shame since this paper is not compatible with my HP Photosmart printer. The program that comes with it is not compatible either regardless of reports that it is. The HP paper and program do a better job with the Hallmark program, however the pictures don't fit nicely on the paper. The HP paper and program do a better job with the pictures. In addition, I have had problems with my printer rejecting some cards from the Hallmark program due to a small paper size. bummer because Hallmark has very nice templates that I would like to use but am unable to, so I use the templates that come with HP Design Studio, which came with their 4x8 paper. After all, I'm able to make nice looking cards with the Hallmark paper and HP program, though I don't have the number of templates I had hoped for. Still, better than nothing I suppose. On the positive side, the paper quality is good and the images are The software seems to be well-suited to a printer which is truly compatible with it, so you can put together some great custom cards. I feel that this is a good way to create photo cards if you're creating a birthday card, thank you card, or get well card for a single person - that's what you want to do. You'll always get good feedback when you do it this way because it gives a nice personal touch. For holiday cards, though, it is far, far cheaper to have a store/online photo store to do these in bulk than to do this yourself. If you did these yourself, it would take you a long time and consume several gallons of ink, making it highly inefficient.

Since everything has already been said, I won't repeat it here. The Hallmark card software that is included (a free disk) is what I used this year to make my holiday Initially I wasted about 15 cards trying to "get it right," but after that it was fine. But I was very happy with the software after I figured out how to make them print. It was only disappointing that I hadn't figured out how to alter my printer's default settings, and that I couldn't print them with edge-to-edge. There is no border around the edge. Okay, I guess that's fine, because even though it was 1/2 wide all around, it didn't really become an issue. Since I bought this year's and last year's disks as well, I ended up with more than nine free disks that I did not One of them I have kept and I have given the rest away. My recommendation is to buy it!.

Software included in the kit works well, and you can easily design the cards using it. Although it was difficult to get a printout without a white border, I did manage it. Also, this paper size wasn't compatible with our HP Photo Printer from the 90's, so we had to use our everyday printer to print the photos (which worked well). By the time we got these printed up, it would have been much cheaper (due to the cost of paper and ink) and much less time-consuming if we had simply ordered them from an online service. It's easy to design cards, good quality paper, and easy to print. The printer settings are hard to format because of printer compatibility problems As it does not save settings, you must reset them every time. am in love with Regardless of what was printed in the cards, the ones I made were better than those we received and nearly all of them were printed professionally. My Canon printer works great with these papers as long as you like the glossy look. The colors are vibrant and my Canon printer prints them clearly. I have noticed that the cards are thicker than some professional holiday cards we receive from family. Those programs are outdated and unreliable, but I still consider the paper alone worth the price. This year I tried the outdated software that came with the package and it worked perfectly with Windows 8 64. most flawless software, so if you are looking for that forget about it, but it does the job for now.

This is a great set of Last year, I bought it for making Christmas cards and used it for more than a year. There is a CD with templates you can use to make photo cards for an array of different occasions and clip art can also be incorporated. The kids' pictures are on all of our cards these days, and I have used this for years. Since Office Max no longer had these in stock, I ordered them over I've tested them with my HP printer and they work. The photo paper cards I use have not changed much since 11/21/14, but I still love them. As a result, when I had to buy a new printer, I got a HP Photosmart 7510. It did not feature the custom page size option so I could only input 4x8 like my last printer. Hence, I've been picking index cards 5x8 and other photo papers which work for me now. In fact, it does print with a white border, as other reviewers have pointed out. The pattern is even and the size is not so large, so it looks good. My only complaint is that some of the templates you choose have a larger white border, so I tend to stay away from them. The art studio section allows me to copy and paste the frames from their current collection and then I use the shapes and clip art to create If you want clip art, you can browse the files on your computer to pick it out. The software CD included with the game needs to be updated with some new features.

This is the first time I've purchased these and I've used one for my Christmas cards so far. With the software that comes with this, you can find some nice templates that integrate well with the Card Studio software I've been using If you wish to thank someone for a gift, then you may want to make a card that shows the gift Our friends gave us an orchid plant so that we could do so. It is hard for me to determine how many photo cards to order, so I can avoid running out or having leftover cards. A nice weight card stock is used, and the back of the card does not have logos or arrows.

I could not get my printers to properly recognize these cards no matter what I tried. The printers I used from HP, Epson and Canon did not work so I read many blogs (many people had the same issue), and I called my work IT guy. As well, the software is a mess. Take advantage of the time and money you will save by having your local store make your cards The end result was that I had to do what I had to and it worked out great and was cheaper. As long as I trim the cards to 4x6, I can print them out on my dedicated photo printer and don't lose out entirely on this purchase.
