I haven't attempted to print anything larger than an 8-inch square. 5 x 11. I'm not a big fan of this software. I first tried the $10 version before upgrading to the $100 Deluxe version. There aren't enough symbols (couch, bed, sink, etc.) in the library, but it's fine for the most basic layout.
You are correct, and toolkit also allows you to paint a wall, a room, or an entire house with a single mouse click. It's incredible. Every single one of us will be given an island!! After reading that this program was one of the best house design programs for 2019, I decided to purchase it. All I wanted to do was design a new kitchen for the house we're buying. So, the first time I used the program, it worked. for approximately 30 minutes After a couple of kitchen counters. It would only give me islands as a choice. Is your cabinet completely full? It is not a problem. Select it and place it in the appropriate location. Is there a corner cabinet or an island? It's not an issue. I quit and went on to spend my Christmas vacation on the island. I figured I'd return to it once things calmed down. Today is that day. Islands. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program three times. After the second reinstall, it informed me that I required an update. It was set up by me. Islands. This is for everyone! I'm disappointed that I spent $99 on a useless program. Yes, my computer is relatively new, has ample storage, and meets the program's requirements. Yes, I'm aware of how to make use of them. Yes, I restarted my computer after the installation was completed. and the removal of the software as well as setting up and the removal of the software as well as setting up I suppose I'll return to my 1/4" graph paper and ruler. a lot less aggravating I was extremely disappointed.
First and foremost, I bought one of the older models, which I adored! I tried to locate the model but was unable to do so, and I do not recall paying such a high price for one of the higher-end models. br>From that standpoint, I think this program is fantastic. I am a casual user who is unlikely to turn any of their designs into reality. There are several new furniture options available, as well as some useful tools. br>Contrary to popular belief, there are almost too many configuration tools, making it difficult for non-technical users to use. a perception br>Like other reviewers, I'm having trouble getting the cabinets feature to work; no matter what I do, it keeps selecting the island. Changing the height of the first flow is difficult, but changing the second floor is even more difficult. br>****At the end of the day, if you're trying to redesign your kitchen, don't buy! ****.
When I sent a friend pictures of what I made, she replied that she thought I was sending her actual pictures of my apartment because the package did such a good job. The ability to create items in the custom workshop and import images are two features that stand out in the product. Using the custom workshop, I was able to create new items or modify existing ones to get exactly what I wanted. I used the import material to get *my* artwork and rugs; it's not just point-and-click software that produces a perfect representation. You will need to devote some time to learning the features and experimenting with them. There are numerous learning resources available. There is a 500 manual as well as tutorial videos included. In addition, there is a user forum and a Facebook page where you can seek assistance. It's a great deal for the money.
The software will not load, and the functionality will be inadequate. "Injured files" prevent work from being saved. br>I am extremely dissatisfied and would like a complete refund.
This program has always been one of my favorites. There are a few bugs, but I'm not doing this for work; it's just for fun.
(I wrote this for V20 Professional, but it should apply to Premium as well. ) They only differ in Professional v20 by a few extra features. br>br>I can't recall ever giving anything less than four stars. I usually don't review things I don't care for, but I'll make an exception in this case. Why? Because I believe that the public should be made aware of what happened to Punch! This is a response I gave to a Facebook user who used to work for Punch, explaining that it had been sold and that its best programmers had been laid off, and that I needed to buy it to open old design files that wouldn't open any longer. But I'm sorry I had to. This is the response I gave to one former user who worked for the Punch organization before it was sold and claims that they got rid of their best programmers,"br>br>"That's too bad, they were on their way to having a truly first-class product when I got my first copy (Pro-1). gold vs. 4). It wasn't the most comprehensive, but it was sufficient for basic designs. It was 15 years ago at the time. Now comes v20, a much larger program that has a lot of potential. Really bad, a lot of features and functions don't work, it's difficult to find or use, and it's designed to be difficult to use. e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e. I'm not going to tell you anything else. br>br>But the worst part is that their user manual is so lacking, often telling you what you can do but not explaining how to do it or where to find the necessary tools (some of which don't appear to exist). You can look for a long time and come up empty-handed (I'm still looking for the 'Control Toolbar' that allows you to group items - The manual simply says to 'open the control toolbar tab,' but I don't have one, and it's not hidden behind other tabs, etc. Alternatively, try creating an object in one of the "power tools," only to discover that the only way to export the object to your plan is to copy/paste it. If you do, and you need to make changes, there's no way. Only a few basic parameters are provided on the properties sheet. You must return to the ('insulated') power tool and make the necessary changes there, before copying. And what does 'do you want to link to' mean? 'Do you mean when you close one of those tools?' Even the quick start can't be reentered if you want to, say, add another room to your layout. Stupid oversights like that, rulers that are difficult to grasp and manipulate, zooms that cause your drawing to become off-center and force you to search for it, and so on. And everything on their website smells like they're trying to sell you something else (or their $50 ebook training manual, which I wouldn't trust based on the poor user manual and other training video guides (more than half of which are missing from their website). As far as I can tell, it's nothing more than a marketing ruse to sell more junk. They should be ashamed of themselves and what they've done to this product; we used to have very active forums that answered any question, as well as free downloads of thousands of different materials and objects, many of which were uploaded by users. All of that has been lost and ruined. Shame on them and whoever purchased Punch out, whether it was Broderbund or someone else. Punch should have never gone on the market in the first place - Quick money does not produce quality products or satisfied customers. I'm going to give it a one-star rating. 5. 0 out of 5 stars on Amazon It is necessary to inform the public. There are a slew of other good CAD and design products on the market. This isn't one of them, by the way. Thank you for taking the time to read my rant. br>br> Sorry, but I get irritated every time I open it and discover another flaw. I'm sorry, but I'm unable to refrain from doing so.
The functionality of the program is restricted. I'd like to get my money back. This makes me angry. I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience.
