I recently received this program and regret not reading some of the recent reviews before purchasing. THE SOFTWARE ASSUMES THAT YOU KNOW THE BASIC CHEMICAL CONCEPTS. Each section consists of a series of questions about the topic of your choice, with two options if you don't understand a question or concept. You can either click the "Learn" button to open a new window that explains the general concept behind the question, or you can click the "Explanation" button to open another slide that explains how to find the answer to that specific question. br> Interactive tutorials and progressive learning sessions are not available. It's nothing more than a quiz and test generator that lets you go over material you should have already learned in class. Because of this, the interface is called Chem "TUTOR" rather than Chem "TEACHER. "br> I found the interface to be simple to use, but the presentation was shabby. It has a complete periodic table and references tables to assist you in answering the questions, but it lacks a basic calculator, let alone a scientific calculator, which you will require from the start. br> If you're looking for simple software to help you study for an exam, this is it; if you want to learn Chemistry, look for a better product or take a class.
Reading a book isn't nearly as thrilling. The videos are easy to follow and informative, covering all aspects of basic chemistry from high school to college chemistry.
This software, in my opinion, is completely useless. Show me what you've learned! Please examine the product reviews carefully; I believe they are paid reviewers, and their claims that this product produces "A" grades are false.
" There is no mention of knowing chemistry in the product description. To top it off, the software appears to be out of date. This program will cost you $40. It isn't worth five dollars. I'd rather have someone punch me in the face than be taken advantage of like this again. I can't believe how many positive reviews there are; it's suspicious.

It was of no use to her. The program is not something I would recommend.
For teaching chemistry, this is extremely useful didactic material. I recommend it to students and teachers in high school and university. The text and exercises are both extremely easy to understand.
