The Clip Studio mouse pad can be useful if you have Clip Studio in any of its forms and think that more freedom would be better than using a keyboard and tablet. In the picture, you can see how small it is. Designed for kids of all ages, and familiar with a Wii remote, it will be easy to use. The wheel serves as a button, all buttons are in the thumb's range, and there are two bumper buttons--the latter being used to stop the remote from spinning. I hope it turns out to be worthwhile. I have finally figured out how to get this thing to work properly on my Mac that I feel obligated to share my experience. - (Editing my review now that I've fixed things. ) Below is the short version of the story Check that Clip Studio Paint is set to the latest version. A longer version of the sentence is as follows My tabmate arrived a couple days ago and as soon as I received it I When I tried to pair it with my Mac after the first failed attempt, it paired immediately the second time. If only it were this simple with everything else. Because I forgot that I was running an old version of Clip Studio Paint, I was only able to use the pairing button on the tabmate when I tried to use it. This program could not be used with any other program. As a result, the EK remote works in just about any program, not just the Wacom EK! It's possible to use the remote with something as silly as a web browser (like Chrome and Firefox). With the Tabmate, this is not the case. There is no actual settings program such as there is with the EK remote, so clicking File (or "Clip Studio Paint" for Mac users) and hovering over the "Clip Studio Tabmate" button is required if you want to change anything. If you're running an old version of CSP, you won't even see it. Using the program's shortcut to launch Clip Studio Paint failed even after I updated, but I eventually discovered that Clip Studio Paint was not launching the updated version when I used the shortcut to launch the program. It took a little bit of digging into my applications to locate the "new" CSP shortcut and clicking that for it to finally fix the problem. For hours I could continue to rant about this whole thing (including the shipping mishap) but I'm not going to. The moral of the story is There is no plug-in for this A remote control is used to play. In addition to making sure that your computer can detect it, you must ensure that your version of CSP is in line with that requirement. Don't forget to launch your newly updated CSP! If you don't, you're going to end up with an outdated version! If you keep all of that in mind, I think it is superior to the EK remote I previously mentioned. I love how ergonomic it is and how all the buttons are easily accessible! Here's hoping that's the last problem I'll encounter with it.
