Questions & Answers

Are you sure this is the original full version? Would you please accept my thanks?

The original is definitely the best, but I'm not sure what you mean by that. All in all, it's the Moreover, it comes with an extensive collection of older Poser content (from earlier

Do you have an idea if this will work on a microsoft surface pro 4 with 8GB RAM and core i5 processor?

When I tried that with my Surface Pro 4, it would crash often.

Would it be possible to store this on a microSD card or usb drive if I bought it? How much storage space does it provide?

In short, yes. It is possible to store any program on a usb drive or microsd, as it will be interpreted as external memory by the computer. There is no set amount of storage, but it depends on the number of features you enable, such as exports. As far as the range goes, I don't know. You should definitely upgrade the size of the memory stick or memory card if you plan to keep your projects on the same stick or card.

In what way is this different from other poser pros? Is it possible to create anything with it?

The Smith Micro version that we looked at was the most recent version. both Mac and Windows installations, you need a DVD-ROM If it can be installed on any ROM then that would be great) If it can be made into anything else It is far more of a 3D modeling manipulation tool than a 3D modeling program. For users who want a full-scale modeling and animation package that is free, I recommend Blender. With Poser Pro, you can do a lot of neat character animation stuff. This is why I bought the pro version, since it comes with a good number of characters that can be customized.

It's a great piece of There's a lot to love about this There is a learning curve to this program, as most software like this does require time to become proficient
5/5

Nevertheless, it's a great idea - It has been a real pleasure to work on this project. Figuring out what clothes to wear for each character is the hard part The website renderoisty is a good place to shop for clothes, but it is hard to find clothing there that fits you properly. A few tricks must be learned in order to make the clothes Compared to DAZ 3D, this software is way better It's free ware, but doesn't allow you to talk with the characters And what is the point of just having these nice characters walk and move without saying anything? Once you figure out how to use Poser, it is a great piece of software to use! You've made my day!.

It would be nice if there was more help for newbies. I have found some help on YouTube, similar to some updated books.

Despite his legacy, Poser continues to go Poser has been one of my favorite programs for many years
5/5

Now that I have upgraded from Poser Pro 2014, which I reviewed here, I will update my review. Check out my earlier reviews of Poser for a comprehensive overview. Poser Pro 11 offers a number of exciting new features, but one that I must comment on is the improvements to There is now a way for older Poser figures (such as Poser 4 and 5) and DAZ Studio figures to subdivide correctly, giving them a wider range of Prior versions of Poser were able to subdivide older figures, but many times there would be As a result of the improved subdivision, morph targets can also be created for the subdivided versions of the figures. This allows you to create morph targets with much more detail. A spike morph can be created for a figure following the subdivision of the figure to the resolution you want, for example. If you want, you can also create small spikes on a figure using Additionally, the subdivision will sort of work if you go down to lower levels of sub D, but you will still want to use the morph at the level for which it was created, since lower levels may not morph properly. The creation of morph targets as separate files is now possible without requiring the original geometry to be exported. Using them you can create injection files that could be used with DAZ or Poser Poser and DAZ do not support exporting geometry this is a definite no-no if you will be selling your creations. The creation of morph targets and the sale of morphs without exporting or selling any original copyrighted geometry have now become significantly easier. Poser Pro 11 also offers the Superfly engine, which is another big improvement. It is a cycles style render engine that makes it possible to create even more realistic renderings than There is a new ray tracing engine that utilizes your computer's video card. This is the Poser equivalent of the NVIDIA Iray engine. Those of you who love the old Firefly render engine can still enjoy it and it still gives great rendering results. Superfly, however, does a much better job of handling caustics, volumetrics, ambient lighting, and occlusion than the Firefly engine. Nevertheless, users should be aware that different rendering engines lead to different output. You will need to adapt textures and procedural shaders for use with the Superfly engine, as some new textures and shaders won't work in the new engine the same way. Poser now includes a node set that supports both render engines in the texture room. Firefly and Superfly engines, for example, behave differently when it comes to glass and transparency shaders. The reason for this is that different render engines use different lighting models, which in turn produces different In order to achieve similar results with both engines, you have to ensure that your textures, shaders, and lighting setup will work with both. If you intend to use both, then you will need to make sure that your shaders and lighting settings will function well with both engines. As a result, you might want to save two versions of your Poser project, one using Firefly and one using Superfly, so you can set the lighting and textures for each render so that you get the results you are looking for. In addition to these new figures, Poser Pro 11 adds two more figures. The two human figures Paul and Pauline are the newest additions to Poser's figure lineup. Additionally, the Poser 10/Pro 2014 figures Rex and Roxie, Allyson and Ryan (and ethnic variants) as well as Jesse, James, Ben, Kate, Creech, the Project Human figures, and more are also in addition to this. A 3D app that supports is also necessary. It is possible to use DAZ Studio cr2 files in Poser as well, which means all your Genesis figures will run, including Victoria and Michael. If DAZ figures are your favorite, but you prefer Poser's working environment, you can certainly have the freedom to do that, and vice versa for Poser figures. It is also possible to use the cr2 format inside DAZ. For instance, Victoria or Michael support the morph sculpting tool in Poser, which is one reason why you might consider using them. A DAZ figure can be sculpted as morph targets for further morphing and then the morphed figure can be imported The figures I made came from male and female Poser 4 adult figures, and I did the body proportions (with the figure proportion tool and scale dials) and sculpted the limbs to make the children seem childlike. They worked perfectly in There are virtually no limits to what can be achieved. ***** Poser Pro 11 is now available after the 01/03/2018 update *******

***** Poser Pro is always up to date. 1. One of the biggest new features in Version 11 is its ability to run on Mac and Windows. A new ethnic Paul and Pauline figure is introduced in Acts 1. The Allyson and Ryan figures from Poser 8 or 9, Version 11, can be added to Poser In addition to them providing African, East Asian, and Hispanic variants of their Paul and Pauline figures, they have also added a few morph targets to provide more variety. However, if you like the original Paul and Pauline characters, you can still use them and of course, the new figures are fully morphable so that you can sculpt your own morph targets and make your own texture maps and the like.

It's horrible that the creators have no idea what a human looks like! The controls are horrible
3/5

Over the years, I have used many versions of Poser, hoping that they would fix the serious conceptual problems. too easy to recognize the final rendered product as being generated by a computer. These people simply don't exist in the real world. the arms straight up of a figure. Put it in a mirror and compare it to yourself. The arms' hinge point on the torso is far out from the spine, NOT midway between the spine and outer sides of our bodies. The toes on Poser's foot are really cool. It's almost as if they've done a good job on the big toe, but ALL of OUR other toes are like mushroom bulbs. In contrast, Poser toes do not have bulbs at the ends like those in human newborns. It looks like they are Please be patient. When it comes to fingers and toes, Poser has no idea how they You can see your fingers on your hand. Three of their joints are located in the neck. In Poser's case, there are four fingers. Put your hand in front of you and try to make your fingers twist upward and downward, the same way you can do so As a result, the user must make his or her fingers twist, in order to compensate for the incorrect design of the joints. At least one designer would need to have taken an anatomy class if they didn't have to twist. Moreover, you will never be able to get a Poser thumb that looks good. The thumbs do have the correct number of joints (three), but they don't know that one of those joints is at the wrist.
Kindergarteners do not know how to accurately draw a person. Such an organization as Corel SHOULD know how to do this. There is (2) a great deal of inconsistency Any joint that moves in one direction will probably need to go in the minus direction on the right side, and will probably go in the plus direction on the left or else they'll be In spite of the large number of different characters, there is no consistency. They even do not use the same names for the same body parts. The company apparently lets anybody sell their designs through Poser or its subsidiary, but standardization is not being done. In terms of skills and aptitude, Corel can't compete with people trying to make a living out of graphics arts, and who It means we have to produce our renders as fast as possible. It is losing money when we have to play hide and seek all day. For a book, I was asked to create an image. The first step that I had to take to get as good as Poser can do involved hours of rendering, and then I had to spend days in post-rendering fixing the ridiculous appearance of a creature that looked almost Putting the shoulder joint where it actually is, for instance. I spent most of my time in post-rendering, but the customer hired a model and photographer, bought the right clothing, and got a print of what I was trying to do. It was my fault that I lost my job. Please be patient. As an alternative to using POSER, I purchased a silicon "sex doll" for $900, have posed it and will take standard pictures instead of using it for someone else's book. There is no "sex" in the The doll will serve as a reference when applying for The heads of the other characters will be different. Please be patient. The poster is a waste of time. The idea is a joke for Cretans who have no idea what humans really look like or have little concern for certain aspects.

An issue with a license
3/5

The grace period to activate this product has expired! I hadn't used poser 11 pro for a long time, but when I launch it, I get, "The grace period for activating this product has expired!" How could that possibly be? A registration has already been completed for this product. I am also unable to login with my password. Following uninstalling and reinstalling, now I receive a message that states "The number of activations of this license has reached its maximum. ". I wrote down my money, and I lost it.
