Corel PhotoMirage | Photo Animation Software [PC Download]

A complete waste of money, the program is extremely limited, even previewing the effects takes an eternity. I recently discovered that there is an app that can do everything this program does at a cost of only.

While PhotoMirage claims it can provide animation, some other products that cost less do so as well. It is difficult to edit work in PhotoMirage. It needs a lot of improvement to justify the price. By adjusting the length of the arrows with your mouse, you can determine the strength of the "flows" There are no sliders or text input fields for making precise adjustments on property pages. There is a lack of fluidity in the transitions. You have to get the speed just right. Although some stunning results can be achieved with little effort, in other cases it takes more effort. There is more to the product, but it is a little too similar to an Easter egg Finding out what else can be done through an egg hunt.

For starters, let me clarify that I was looking for a program that I could use on my PC, not an app on my phone, as I was creating visual backgrounds for meditation. In this way, plenty of the app options were quickly rendered obsolete. In terms of desktop use, I found only a few options, and decided to use Platoverse is a subscription service (not ideal) and this is a one-time payment. My first reaction to Platoverse was one of utter hatred. After you sign up, you are taken to a social media style account page where you are asked to upload something. Most buyers will not be moved by the social aspect of this largely unknown brand. The intro video featured a guy in sunglasses looking like a bro, which was not helpful as far as designing a graphic is concerned. As a result, I was apparently on my own. After spending an inordinate amount of time trying to figure out how to use Platoverse, I gave up and canceled my Trial membership (which was not as simple as it should be). I'll get back to PhotoMirage now. When I signed up for the free trial, I was immediately taken to a video describing how to actually design the graphics. I love it! It is as easy as it gets to use this program. This is 1. 1. Drag and drop your image (I used an Unsplash image that was CC0) 2. Crop the image if needed 3. 3. Show directional arrows (shorter strokes mixed with longer ones seem to be ideal)
3. Make sure that the areas you do not want animated are masked off. Ibid. , p. 4. If you'd like to see what you did and adjust the speed (a toggle), click play. This is 5. You will need to export both files (one is the native Corel file for later editing, and the other is the MP4). It's so simple. It is QUICK and EASY to use the program. This is the genius of its simplicity. This is not the program for you if you want lots of options and effects. Here is the tool that will have you up and running in a matter of minutes and perform as intended. There are cheaper options available in the app stores (usually with ads as well) if you only intend to use your phone. For me, though, this is perfect. I'll be able to add my creations to my meditations using a screen recording tool (my favorite. In ) Screencast-o-matic. My voice (Blue Yeti Mic) is narrated over these dreamlike images while I feel the sensation of the music. It was exactly how I wanted it to be.

A free trial was downloaded, and it worked fine. A bit difficult to use sometimes, but sometimes provides you with the exact result you're looking for. In Corel and PhotoMirage's example, you can see how. In the above example, it's obvious you need to take a photo with knowledge of the effect you are going to apply. Animating a photo is all you can really do with it once you have it and posting it to the web and hoping that people will like it. Prices are likely to be in the $10-$20 range The most they can charge you is $15.
